Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility and qualifications for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) Program are as per provisions of this Prospectus based on relevant notification(s)/rules of Punjab Government/Indian Nursing Council issued from time to time. The selection shall be strictly as per merit of entrance test examination. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Subjects as regular candidate from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab only except for the exemptions wherever applicable and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/BC) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible. The admission will be open to a candidate who–

i) has attained, or shall be attaining, the age of 17 years, but shall not be completing 35 years on 31/12/2025.

ii) has obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/BC) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually at Senior Secondary Part II examination (class 12 of 10+2 stream), or an equivalent examination from the recognized statutory Board/University. (The candidate should have passed this examination in the annual examination held in March/April 2025 or earlier. Those who are placed in compartment in the annual examination 2025 or who are already in compartment and fail to clear the same in the supplementary examination 2025 shall not be eligible).

iii) Is medically fit.
