Jss Science and technological university (SJCE) is undoubtedly one of the best engineering colleges in Karnataka. The only reason it's not as popular as BMS or RV is because of the fact that it's in Mysore and not in Bangalore. Some of the things I like about this college is -The Campus -?It is very beautiful and well maintained.Staff -?It mainly depends on what branch you take up, but generally all the branches have some exceptionally good professors. I'm in EC and some of the professors that I know are very good in teaching. They also support us and motivate us.Seniors -?While joining engineering everyone will be scared about seniors to some extent. Even I was. But here the seniors are infact very friendly. They take care of their juniors and help us whenever we ask them anything.Extracurricular activities?- There are many clubs in our college like IEEE-SJCE (student branch of IEEE), LCC(Linux), TESLA, PHOTO-ON(Photography), SAHAS(Adventure), AEROJC (RC plane making) etc. We can be a part of any of these clubs and they are all very active throughout the semester.Placements -?This college has a very good placement record

the college is one of the best Universities is in Karnataka. It is a very old institution set up in 1963 which adds more to its reputation . the placement opportunities are very good. I will definitely recommend this college to everybody.

The college is good in all terms, be it placement opportunities or good education. It is a very good institution for our career. it has a very good infrastructure as well. I feel really proud to be a part of this institution.

I don't have any negative remarks for the university. Our university has a very well infrastructure . And the faculty and non faculty staffs are also very good here. As far as I am concerned one should keep this university in ones priority list.

The admission in the university is based on the entrance exam known as KCET. The exam is conducted by the government of Karnataka. The eligibility criteria for this course is to have a 10+2 class degree.

I joined this college because it was near to my home and also had a great reputation. It's also autonomous. It was either this or NIE Mysore. This was a better college in my opinion.So I joined this college and I'm proud of my decision.

The students can fill in an online application form and then write and entrance exam which is conducted by the college. Once is the entrance exam is conducted the students have to wait for the merit list to come out.

JSS Science and technology offers various engineering, some bsc and PhD courses. Admission is taken through entrance exams however entrance exam is different for different course. For btech you should pass comedk Or jee.

The admission to my college is a systematic procedure. Students have to complete their graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Then we have to sit for the Karnataka PGCET Examination. Based on our ranks we get the admission to the college.

I got confirmation through CET which was led by KEA( Karnataka assessment position) to join BE. After the test I got my reports checked. They will give you to choose school given in list. What's more, I pick the school through insightful choice.
