DYPIU Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:40, which is common in India. However, there are instances where one teacher manages up to 135 students. The curriculum includes 8 semesters, with each semester having 5 subjects and exams conducted in a mid-semester and end-semester format.

Mid-sem exams are typically 20-25 marks, and end-sem exams are 50 marks. Additionally, unit tests and vivas are part of the assessment process. While most faculty members are supportive, approachable, and provide career guidance, some are less responsive and focus more on syllabus completion than content understanding. Teaching assistants and PhD students often handle student concerns. The faculty is praised for being friendly and motivating, although some have ego issues or are not regular.
