Is Narsee Monjee Indore a good campus for BBA?

Some alumni report that students get attracted by the ads and infrastructure of NMIMS Indore, but that is far from reality. They manufacture donkeys every year , you could never find a toxic environment better than this. The fee is close to INR 3L/year and they have made hostel compulsory for first year students, which is purely business. Coming to placements, NMIMS Indore average package is INR 3.5 LPA. So your ROI is INR 3L after spending INR 15 Lakh. Even if you sit for the placement, they force you to take the job even if you have a low salaried job, or else they won't give you the degree. With regard to attendance, you have to attend classes, no matter what. You can avail 12 absentees in each subject. If you exceed 13, you shall have to sit for a re-exam, and if you fail, then repeat. Although the environment is toxic, the level of education is good. Few professors here are good and give you quality teaching, while others are average.

National level law firms and corporate are yet to join hands but once it happens placement percentage which was 60 in 2024-25, will shoot to 80+ and avarage placement which were 6 lakhs will shoot to 12 lakhs a year.

The students are eligible to sit for placement from last semister of their course. Different and reputated companies such as Grand Thornton , Delloit etc. along with other big financial companies last year that is in 2023 highest package was 24 lakh and placement is not 100% . My plans after this degree is if I get placed then I'll have some experience in the corporate world otherwise and then side by side prepare for CAT or GMAT and if not placed I'll aim for IIM and colleges of GMAT

After 5th semester students get eligible for placements but the placements never happen much because nobody wants it as the average package is around 300000 and people spend around 10-12 lakhs for their degree without including hostel. 95% of people belong from business families, people either plan on joining family business or getting a master's degree from abroad or an MBA from India. Still there was a 2% placement rate last year 5 people got 300000 package out of ab batch of 189 students out of which highest package was 350000. My plan was also the same pursuing MBA after my graduation.

The placements are not good so far. As of this year only two companies came out of which one was providing package of 14 LPA but it did not select any student and the other one was rejected by college itself as it was providing package of 4LPA.

An overview of life at NMIMS Indore

Placement Experience:

The campus placement has a average package of 6-8 LPA. From 7th sem onwards the students are suppose to enroll in internships and are provided offer letter for recruitment if fulfills the requirements. There are various companies that are welcomed by NMIMS every year, it included TCS, INFOSYS, HCL, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA and etc. facilities state that there have been cases of companies offering more than 30 LPA but student could not crack it. Moreover from past 6 months there have been a change in the college where there has been tremendous focus on placement preparation where the respected associate dean and many other faculties provide different insights and tasks for placement preparation. I dont have the stats of highest LPA or so, my plans after getting the degree is to seek on campus placement.

One of my friends is part of the institute and speaks highly of it. Here are the various objectives of NMIMS, Indore that you should know.

At present, it is emerging as a preferred campus for students to pursue Executive Education in India.
It has been recognized to have established a center of excellence for Business Analytics, Technology Management, and Infrastructure Management.
The School of Commerce, Science, Law, Economics, Engineering, and Pharmacy are some of the recent establishments of the institute.
It is trying to set up a conducive research environment and also helps foster collaborative research with the several industrial sectors, the government, and NGOs.

NMIMS is known for its Mumbai campus. However, the placement of the Indore campus has been also good. In their first placement drive, the highest salary recorded was INR 18 LPA, while the average stood at INR 11.53 LPA.

It’s a 5-year course carefully divided as per the curriculum.
The recently launched is doing well and has gained fame and caught the eyes of the industries.
