Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility:
- Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2023 should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
- Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2023 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:
- Applicants belonging to SC/ST
- Applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Certificate to prove community / nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
- The applicant should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / PIO/OCI.
- NRI applicants can directly apply under ‘NRI Category’ through NRI application form.
- Foreign applicants who studied/studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.
Age Limit:
- Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2001 are eligible to apply for Engineering admission 2023.
- The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
- Applicants should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counseling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be disqualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course due to my intrest in the subject. The faculty in the campus are available for most of the time for the students. the facuty to student ratio is approx. 1:30 All the faculty of the university have a good qualification and their teaching methods are easy to understand. Exams are conducted monthly once and their dificulty is from easy to moderate which is focused on making the students pass the examination.

I chose this course as it is one of the most demanded courses in the industry. The student's strength is a bit crowded. The faculty are all well qualified with Ph.D. Exams are conducted according to Academic Calendar planned. You need to be attentive and hard-working to clear the exams.

The curriculum in VIT is a unique one. Here the students can design their careers based on their interests. Students can take courses based on their willing time periods.FCFS is a boon to the students of VIT. the teachers were really educated and taught really well.

There are many courses like Artificial Intelligence, Network Security, Data Analytics, Robotics and core courses like CSE , ECE, Mechanical. There are some Specializations in ECE too. Integrated MTech, PG courses also available. There is a good range of faculty who are mostly from IITS AND NITS.

I have data analytics because it is a very demanding course and has many opportunities Vit ap has about 1:20 faculty: student ratio which is a very good ratio. Every faculty in vit ap is PhD holder from reputed institutions like IIT, nit, IIT and foreign universities Vit ap has an open book system that gives hassle free preparation for students and prevents rotte learning, faculty use high-end methods to make students understand their concepts. Exams are conducted every 2 months and are conducted thrice in each semester and average grading is implemented to grade students. Each exam Carries 20% weightage so 3*20= 60% weightage for written exams, the remaining 40% consists of labs and projects. The pass ratio is between 60 to 70% in each exam, due to open book, question paper level is difficult, hence students try their best to pass exams and about 60 to 70 students pass out of 100 in each exam, it may vary according to paper toughness and subjects.
