Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fee I pay was 1,50,000 which as only hostel fee and does not include my course fee because I came here from EAMCET exam. The actual course fee for first catogery was 1,03,000 for first category students and 203000 for second and total there are five cataogeries from VITEEE exam, my batch mates will pay nearly 4.5 lakh nearly for every year who came from VITEEE exam here

The university has so many written MOUs with global universities which is great for expose but at a expensive cost

Dislikes

even though there is a scope of exposure to do great things but most of the events or MoUs signed with global Universities costs really high

for the students who came from VITEEE the fee could be vary from 1L-2L for mechanical engineering (course fee) and from 24 batch onwards the govt cancelled the post metric scholarship even if you got selected via eapcet. it came out to news recently but they have promised and written in admission form for 24 batch as 0 fees full fees reimbursement

Beyond the Brochure : VIT AP

In first year , every student of all departments like CSE , ECE , MECH etc have to study the same course and subjects , from second year onwards we study according to our respective chosen fields .

There are about 5 categories of fees payments depending on your entrance examination score . Ctegory 1 students pay 198000 inr , category 2 students pay 307000 inr , category 3 students pay 405000 inr , category 4 students pay 448000 and category 5 students pay 500000 inr . I am a student of category 1 for which i pay 198000 inr . I have a few friends from category 2 and 3 for which the payments are 307000 inr and 405000 inr .We do have to pay an alumni association fee of 4000 inr and COE gradesheet fee of 1500 inr by the end of college . We had to pay 1350 inr for indian nationals for VITEEE registration fees whilr NRI students has to pay 7790 inr . There is hostel admission fee of 15000 inr - non refundable and 15000 inr as a caution deposit - refundable which will be paid after we leave the hostel . We also have different room selection fees like for 2 bedded ac/non-ac , 4 bedded ac/non-ac , different apartment sharing rooms - all varying of different prices which might change depending on year . We also have mess fees depending on veg/non-veg/special .

Wow with vit

The fee is very high for both tuition and hostel

Yearwise fee is 402000 and hostel is 220000. I'm from 3rd category for fee. My batchmates are mostly from 4th category. Some are also there with 2nd and 3rd category. There are many scholarships but for now, I don't know the names.

My academic journey review

For four years, my tuition fees is 198000 while my hostel fees will be around 200000. The caution fees for both academic and hostel is around 18000. My friends have taken admission in category 1,2,3,4 and 5. The tuition fees vary for different categories. For category 1, one has to pay 198000, for category 2 it is 307000, for category 3 it is around 4,02000, for category 4 it is around 4,78000 and for category 5 it is over 500000.

The VIT takes a admission exam call viteee which is held once a year and has no negative marking. Through viteee we get are rank and get various branches of Vit and different fee from 2 lakh to 5 lakh

Feedback on my university

Fee structure is depends on course we take.for Me I got the seat in VIT university through AP epcet.my tution fee structure is 103000 paid by government and I am belongs to CSE branch.management seats are literally very high compared to epcet seat.it starts from nearly 400000 per year it is only for tution fee . For caution fee 3000 and hostel registration fee 15000 and hostel fee starts from 120000. There is no lab fees, development fee.

Vit ap review by a student in there

I had entered this colleage by emcet . Which means I need not to pay tunion fee . But the i think the tution fee is around 1.5 lakh and I am paying only my hostel fee which is 1.8 lakh. And I think there are some facilities by reservation also in our college

Yes, you can apply for admission to MSc Data science course after completing B Tech degree as the eligibility criteria mentioned by the institute for admission is a Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
