STORY OF PPSU

Likes

i mostly like the cultural events of my college
i also like the campus area and food corners
i like the garden and respected faculty staffs too.

Dislikes

college is such a far away from the city it is on highway
if we want to sit in placement it is required to pay 5000 INR and if placement does'nt select you then you will lose 5000 INR.

Course Curriculum Overview:

because of it's placements i had choose this course they will gives us a project at the end of the semester regarding to the subject so that we can learn real life applications. exams are held at every 1.5 months and ESE before end of the semester

Ppsu good and bads

Likes

Girls boys ratio is maximum same in btech course but in pharmacy girls have upper hand
At present infrastructure is good and growing fast development in infrastructure compared to past
Faculty are well experienced and some are freshers with good knowledge

Dislikes

Some facilities teach in reginol language which may effect other states people
Rules and regulations about examinations is not good enough
Hostel facilities available are worth to the wecare paying

.From sem 7 student's will eligible for campus placements . companies visits are pretty more but offers not that much more Tcs ,Amazon,etc 20 members placed out of 180 .10% will get placements .make well good startup with my skills

Review of my batch of P. P Savani University Surat.

Likes

Hostel was good and food were to my liking. The food were changed on every day basis so it was good to try new food. Alternate sunday has special food.
Class cordinator was very supportive. he always was there for us to guide for path.
PPSU staff and faculty are also quite good. They try help in every possible ways.

Dislikes

WIFI and network connection have several issues in this college.
To many fines and unnceassry fees and transaction are brought up through out my year.
Drinking water in my enginerring building was never available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The sylabus is quite good. Every new topics were includded but my problem was it included too many aiml topics like nlp , ai, data science and didnt include topic like mangodb , react , vue nuxt which is important for IT student.

Likes

Campus is very big. There's football, cricket and basketball ground.
There's AC and projector in every classroom.
PPSU organisation so many functions in college. There's a big function that PPSU organizes name Kalagoonj.

Dislikes

Syllabus still feels outdated. There's more theoretical content compared to practical content.
Canteen is very small. Number of benches in canteen is also very less.

Placement Experience:

I'm still in 2nd year so I don't know how much students got placed in every year. Average 30-40% students placed every year. Average package is 4 LPA. Highest package offered was 24 LPA Zomato, reliance, TCS, many companies come to recruitment. If I don't get package more than 8 LPA I'm planning to study M.Tech abroad.

Very good to get know about education

Likes

I like the college campus and the facilities the provides to students.
My fields all the faculties are too food and very helpful to all the students.
There are attendance criteria for the students so that they have to attend lectures compulsory.

Dislikes

There are too much network issues in my college.
We have to walk too much daily to attend lectures in different buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I learn too much from my course, and it help me in my real life. And also it makes my knowledge powerful. I have four exams in one semester and there are two exams for 30 marks and rest of the two exams for 60 marks.

Event and function are very good and expensive
Infrastructure is good and campus looks good
Campus is very Big and play any game any time

Dislikes

Faculty study full syllabus but not all faculty
Exam preparation is not good and faculty preperation not good
Not working computer lab all devices in lab

I choose this college when I am in study in IT engineer and in TFW goverment seat So I have admission in college College time is long so comes to Home very long time and highway traffic problem is very high

Likes

The campus is very good and vibrant to explore
Activities and functions are very enjoyable
Dean sir is very supportive in every situation

Dislikes

Some faculties are very rude to students
Their is always problem of WiFi working slow in the campus
Their is no option to get water instead of purchasing it

I like to parricipae in many types of compititions like cricket tournament,vollyball tournament and other tournament.
I like to study with differnt ways on this college
I like to participate on college events like counseling or etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose b.tech conputer science machine lerning and artificial inteligence vecause i like to know about how a mashine works and how many types of machine i can work with using codes. The frequency and timing of exams in our colege is two hours exam and the exam paper is not very tough but it is difficult to sove.

Faculty are experienced...they come from different place and are well knowledge about the course that they teach in their particular filed
Campus is big enough for sports activities
Sports events happens every semester twice a year

Dislikes

Campus doesn't have a proper water drinking facility
In campus , Majoritly you will face problem regarding to internet
You will always face problem through using internet

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester,with companies like Infosys, Tata, TCS, reliance, Godrej and many more. They companies offere jobs in diverse domains with an average package of 6 to 9 lac depending on the profile. The highest package that a student offered was 24 lac. Percentage of students getting placements is more than 60%
