CBPBU (Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University) is a public university in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. It has a total of 15 colleges under its affiliation and offers numerous courses for UG, PG, Ph.D and Certification courses in fields of Arts, Science and Commerce.

The undergraduate courses offered by the university are B.A., B.Com., B.Sc, B.Ped. and B.B.A.
It provides postgraduate degrees in 14 specializations and a total of 5 certificate courses are also available in the university.
The admission application of the university is available online in the month of June.

CBPBU Research Program Admission 2024

The university offers courses of Ph.D in Bengali, English,History and Philosophy. Basic eligibility criteria is based on the Research Eligibility Test (RET) merit list, which is conducted by the university every year.

Ans. An attendance of 75% is mandatory. Admission is subject to cancellation if the attendance is not satisfactory.

Ans. CBPBU University has an entrance exam and quota dedicated to such students.

Ans. The university offers B.B.A. which has various management subjects, However there is no degree dedicated to management studies.

CBPBU- Some Detailed Insights

Admission:

My CGPA is Very High 9.13 & I have got a chance in all other universities like NBU, APDU , RGU, GBU , VU , SKBU & many more.But the Fact is, Being a resident of Coochbehar I heard that the CBPBU physics department is dedicated for Teaching Physics. And It's situated in my hometown so I decided to study here. MSc degree is same overall in all West Bengal state government-sponsored university. So I hereby decided to study in my hometown rather than going outwards.In accordance to the WBHED notification, this University starts admission in Online mode. Process is very easy , They have 80:20 ratio for Home & Other university students & they consider CGPA of Graduation as the Merit Point. The Publish Provisional & Final Merit List. You just pay fees on appearing the name in Admission call list & you are admitted. After than, You have to appear in document verification.

I have applied in Nbu and Cbpbu and i got selected in both.i choose this college bcoz the college is very big and sports and cultural events always goes on.. No..i didn't make it there bcoz my gf was not there..nothing went wrong Simple admission process and everything is very simple except the cruel office staffs! Cutoff is 12 out of 40 Attendance is 10% needed only.

Dinhata College an Overview

To make it easy I would like to tell you that I am not a bright student, especially my science ground was really poor. I could barely manages to qualify 10th examination with help of arts subject. After 12th I applied to Dinhata College and A.B.N Seal College. But I couldn't make it to A.B.N Seal just because my 10th result was poor enough, that's why I choose Dinhata College as a second option. But this second option provided me many opportunities that I qualified UGC NET to apply for PhD in my first attempt though I couldn't make it to JRF. But I hope good for the next time.

To get admission in our college you have to get marks around 85% in higher secondary exam . I'm talking about mathematics stream. Maybe for other streams low marks is considerable. There's no exam based admission you can get admission by marks . The difficulty level to get chance is moderate.

A short review on nsm

Admission:

Someone who wants to take admission he needs pass 12th pass or equivalent qualification then after the college notice it's admission period of its respective website . The admission period start after the declaration of 12th result of wbchse. There is a good number reservation is available for the sc,st and other backward categories. The examination process held after every six months throughout the course duration. The exam level is not much difficult it's moderate to eassy . I think the college needs to improve their admission process in some areas like the process of its quite slow and fees of its also quite hard for the backward classes which needs to improve as soon as possible. Also the merit list which the college publishe is also need to currect.
