Tution fee is nearly 2 Lakhs (1,98,000) per year there are other included fees which go upto 30k (30,300 to be precise) which includes the Caution fees, registration and admission fees, development fees, lab & Equipment fees and other compulsory charges. The total you have to pay for FY just for college fees (excluding hostel fees) 2,46,000 However for the rest of the academic years the fees decreses by 18000 as in first year it includes a lot of "one time fees" SC/STs and EWS get specific scholarships whereas other categories like OBC-NCL don't. The most popular scholarship among the students which is easy to avail at the college is NSP. (National scholarship program).

The very high fees creates a pressure on students which is not in the case of NITs.

For the first year, the total fee adds up to 2,46,300. This includes 1,98,000 as tuition, 30,300 under other miscellaneous charges, and a one-time deposit of 18,000 (which is only paid in the first year). The total gets split equally between the two semesters, 1,23,150 for the odd semester and the same for the even.

My views about IIIT-Nagpur

Some Teachers dont know the subjest well enough , also some subjects are outdated in which wee need to study the stuff
Workshops are taken very Lightly. We have some clubs in our collage which do better workshops than the cource coordinators

TOTAL BREAKDOWN OF FEES :(for 1 Yr) tution fees is 198000 Other fees is 30300 One time deposit fee (to be paid only in first yr ) is :18000 THEREFORE : Total fess of first yr is 246300 in odd semister :123150 in even semister 123150 All the state scholarships are available

For first year - (per year) Academic fees : 2,47,000 (including one time) Hostel fees: 1,28,000 (including first time charges) For rest of the years- (per year) Academic fees : 2,29,000 Hostel fees : 1,16,000 There are various Scholarships available at the college website given by different state governments and central government for SC/ST,OBC-NCL and Gen-EWS.

A rising tech institute with strong academics and career opportunities

The annual fee for btech is nearly 2.57 lakh it is tution fee and the hostel fee will vary from 2 seater and four seater 1.2 for 2 seater and 1.08 for 4 seater rooms. And we can apply scholarship for the needs like nsp and Maharashtra scholorship and any other private scholarship's like ffe and reliance etc..

THE COMPLETE FOUR YEAR FEES ( COMBINED HOSTEL + ACADEMIC) IS APPROX 16 TO 17 LAKHS. THERE IS NO FEES CONCESSION FOR GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENTS. BUT FOR RESERVED CATEGORY, THERE IS DIFFERENT SCHOLARSHIPS.

My experience at IIIT Nagpur: Good and Bad

the academics curriculum is quiet heptic as there is an exam every month. Seniors are very helpful and they share their useful experience and guide to be proficient in a stream. This college is still in a developing stage, so it doesn't have that much of college life experience but if your primary focus is to secure a good job in tech field then, this college can be very good.

Sad but Truth

The fees is kind of expensive if taken in comparison with iits and nits. The total fees including hostel for complete 4 year comes around 16 lakhs which is on the expensive side regarding there's limited scholarship the college provides. There's no concession for any category which is again a big issue because it tends to force the students to take student loans. The fees would only increase as inflation happens so there's no hope of it decreasing.

This year I paid 270000 rs in 2 semester where I had to pay 121000 one time and the remaining other time.Since it is a IIIT THERE IS NO COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP BIT IT ENCOURAGE student to apply for government scholarship
