Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are eligible to get place but you can get internship from 2nd sem onwards. Many big companies like nvidia, zomato, google etc visit the campius and many gets placed as well. The highest package as of 2023 was 83+ lakh at google and the average was 17 lakh. The percentage of students getting placed in 90+. Many gets placed on campus many find off campus opportunities. I also plan on geting placed a SDE at any good company after my degree. Might also give GATE.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester (from 3rd year) you are eledgible to apply for in-campus placements. The companies which have come for placements are Nvedia, Google, Amazon, G shock, etc. 80% of the people who have applied for placements are accepted, with an average package of 13 lakhs with the highest being 83 lakhs.

from 6th semester students became elligible the companies include Google, Dream11, Infosys, Goldmansachs ,Nvidia.THE OFFERS ARE AROUND 150 to 170 in total for 220 students highest is 28 lakh and avg is 13 lakh 70 to 80 percent get placement

A brief Overview of IIIT Ranchi

Placement Experience:

Yes campus placement is offered Placements was nice in 2023 but, it 2024 due to recession it went downhill Talking about 2023 stats Around 130 offers Highest 83 lpa Average package was around 16-17 lpa Placement percentage - 85-90% In 2024 Total 50 offers Highest package 28 lpa Avg 9.2 lpa This year things are slightly getting better companies have visited and given offers to students some direct offers and some internships Internships are in the fourth year. My plan is to get a high paying job after 1-2 years of experience MBA from a reputed college if necesaary.

The placement ratio of college is very good and it is improving every year . From end of third year only student become eligible for campus placement in the basis of their skills. Students also gets intership from second year itself so that know the outer world. The highest package of this year from our college is 80 lakhs rupees per annum which is phenomenal as our college is fee year old only.

From talking to students of IIIT Pune, I have come to the conclusion that there can be two possibilities to this question. Let me discuss both of them which might give you a clear idea.

Companies may conduct the recruitment process separately for which a separate placement cell may be formed. The decision to recruit from IIIT Ranchi will be of the companies that come for the placement drive.
IIIT Ranchi students may be allowed to sit in NIT Jamshedpur placements but with certain restrictions like an exception from sitting for getting placed in big companies that visit the campus such as Amazon and Microsoft. This type of policy is usually adopted by mentor institutions.

In the year 2020, the first batch of IIIT Ranchi got placed and here are the highlights:
