Placements are good here. But there is a lot of competition due to the huge batch size. A good number of companies visit every year final placements & some prominent names include Deloitte, TCS, Tata steel, KPMG, Infosys among others. The placements are 100 percent. A lot of companies visit the campus for placements. The highest package revolves around 25 lakhs and the lowest around 9 lakhs. After getting the degree, I would like to pursue my dream job.

XIMB provides 100 percent placement to its students during the final placement; "Xuberance". Everyone gets paid summer internship opportunity and many live project opportunity comes to XIMB. The average package is around 15.4 lakhs rupees and the highest package is 28 lakhs rupees in the year 2020.

There are two placement processes.One being the summer internship process and the second one is the final placement process. The college takes pride in boasting its hundred percent placement record. A lot of companies visit the campus for the placement processes and a good number of offers are made to the students.

The placement committee provided summer internships to each and every student before the 1st year ends. The college also boasts 100% placement before Term 6 starts (in normal conditions). The average package offered is 15.42lpa and the highest domestic package goes to 26-27lpa. Some of the top recruiters are Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, Microsoft, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. Last year, the final placement process saw a whopping increase in the number of recruiters.

The college ensures that everyone gets placed. The Placements are decent across all the domains. The average salary and median salary of the college remains around 15 lacs and the highest domestic salary is around 26 lacs. The majority of the batch's package remains between 12-16 lacs.

XIMB is one of the best tier 2 B-Schools. It is better than most new IIMs and all baby IIMs.Average salary for the 2020 passout batch was 15lpa, while the median stood at 15.4lpa. Marketing is really strong in our college. But at the same time, operations and finance faculties are also great.Admission is taken through CAT/XAT/XGMT(conducted by XIMB)/NMAT(only for HRM program). The exam is followed by a GD and PI. There is a 50% domicile quota. People from Odisha have lower cutoffs than people from other states. Also, the huge batch size results in a bit of a delay in the placement process. But ultimately, 100% placement occurs every year. In 2020, due to COVID, 7 people had their offers revoked, but they were helped by our alumni as well as the faculty and are successfully placed thereafter.Cutoffs vary every year. In 2020, cutoff for XGMT for non-domicile engineering male students was 91%ile. For CAT and XAT, it was 88%ile. Female candidates and non-engineers have much lower cutoffs. Level of difficulty of the exams every year plays a significant role in determining the cutoffs.
