Highly education ,communication skill,very good teachers and staff members , post graduates teacher , polite good in study , neat and clean classroom and lecture halls seminar hall ,good computer systems
In bca my fee is around 5 lakh, there scholarships available for those students who score good marke in there 12th, by the good mark they can score good in university also.
I am a 1st year student. till know i have not experienced. but seeing from 1st year student till know the college is pretty good . i have liked the festival

Dislikes

There were no cut off process and no entrance exam, any stream of students can apply for bca which is my course, think i don't like about the admission process is we have to submit fee before samester start
Tution fee is bit consistent throughout the semester complete cost waa around 3 lakh no such scholarships were provided by the college there were no such employability roles were given from college
Some faculties are really arrogant and they don't have a helpful hand.

Great experience!!

Likes

Faculty are great. They will help you out.
Great cafeteria to sit with friends. I met a lot of new people there
Connectivity. Bus route covers whole dehradun. They also started bus to rishikesh and Haridwar

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Minimum package offered was 4 LPA during my time. Last I checked they are allowing companies who provides atleast 6 LPA. Almost 80% of batch gets placed from on campus placement. Rest goes for offcampus one

A deep insight.

Likes

I like the inclusivity in the university and every student is treated the same.
I like the support that faculties provide and if we are good with our academics then no issue will trouble us regarding the faculties.
I like the placement here as for our batch a lot of companies have visited till now around 50. So looking forward to a good start.

Dislikes

I don't like the way some things are imposed like to wear formals on Monday and Thursday.
I dislike the way urgent assignments are given just before a few days of examination.
Sometimes it becomes a task to find a place to sit as the university is a bit crowded.

Placement Experience:

Students start sitting for internship related opportunities since the 5th semester and the majority of companies visit the university in the 7th semester. 6-7th semester is eligible for students to take NOC from the University and go for their internships. Till now more than half of the batch Is placed. The average package is around 4.5Lpa and the highest is around 45Lpa till now.

Likes

good infrastructure ,extra curicular activities
good placement , hostel facility , award winning college
one of the best college in education and all over ranking

Dislikes

it has a very high fees structure which is not good for poor people
it takes too much additional charges like transportation
as infrastructure is mordern they have to their food

Placement Experience:

the placement of my ollege is well good if the student is good in studies he will easily get the good placement package from our college and the companies like microsoft, nvidia, amazon alsi comes in our college for placement drives

Focus on skills

Likes

The staff is very good helping students for enhance their skills
Their are many concerts held in our university which help students to relax and enjoy
In university they have different clubs which also helps students like ncc nss Bhangra club and more

Dislikes

The college building is big but the students are more and it have sometimes difficult for the new admission students to find the labs and classes
The information about exams and their results are not giving in proper time
The college outside gaming area is good but not enough for the students

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placement in the 3 rd years where most companies come and hier more students and give them good package the company visited college is Flipkart Google Amazon and more companies the highest package in our university student get is 84 lakhs and the minimum package is 400000 the students are having 7+ cgpa to sit in the placement and internship my plan is to get a placement before taking my degree

Best college in uttarakhand

Likes

Faculty is too good there are also supportive in nature.
I see also teachers are well experienced and labs are also good
They placement department is so active and many companies come in this collage.

Dislikes

They don't have set like we only have 400seats for BTech cse but they are giving admission to everyone this is not a problem of graphic Era this is the problem of every collage.
In library on teacher was so rude and they are always in anger.
All things are good in my collage I see they provide many opportunities.

Placement Experience:

My collage provide very good placement that's also a big reason to choose Graphic Era. Highest package is above 50lakh and average package is 4.5pla. Around more than 50% Student are placed from my batch and that's also a big number because after COVID and recession.

Geniune Overall review for placements and overall life of 5th sem student

Likes

For placements, our college included a subject called carrier skills for the development of social skills , writing skills and professional skills. It ingages us with group discussion, communication techniques, correct writing format of emails etc.
The library is good enough to provide enough seats and internet connection along with general knowledge books and good calm environment for studying
Our colleges starts provides intership opportunities from 4th semester and placement in companies like GOOGLE ACCENTURE TCS etc for btech students.

Dislikes

The crowd is increasing every year , my course alone has approx 2500 students ,so it degrades the quality of environment to study and very competitive in placement area.
3 out of 5 teachers barely focus on students.Most of the faculty just come in class to complete the syllabus and Mark attendence.
The campus is very strict about the uniform . They don't allow the students to enter if you wear different uniform. Casuals are allowed only on Fridays.On other days excluding Monday and Thursday we can wear informal trousers and shoes.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. Companies visited our college -Google, Amazon, Accenture,Tcs, Flipkart and many more . These companies visit our campus from 5th to 7th sem for placement drive. Highest package offered -50 LPA BY GOOGLE And avg package offered is 3-4 LPA by TCS 60 -70% students gets placed every year My aim is to aim for a good placement from my campus, if not , then will go for our campus and startups.

To be honest the faculty and staff is a bit rude and not much cooperative except few teachers
Campus life of the college is very good and the quality of social interaction is good as the college regularly hosts events etc
The college offers nice and social events and hosts good parties on a regular basis

Dislikes

The faculty and teaching is pretty average except few teachers who mostly focus on practical learning than theoretical
Few of the college students are really agressive and not much cooperative
If the college becomes more strict and stern on the students from UP and Haryana then it’ll be much better

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specifically the placements had me take the course but after coming and studying i am clear that the teachers dont teach much you have to do it yourself. The college have proper classes with the monitors and light with proper ventilation.

Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun : A balance between practical focus and industry life

Likes

The campus is very clean and neat , there is greenery all around and feels very refreshing to be there.
The classes are well equipped with the modern features.
Activities and fest that are organized in the campus are very good.

Dislikes

The architecture doesn't allow to keep a comfort as because of the increasing number of students.
The management by faculties for scheduling class timing and college timing is not appropriate , a lot of time gets wasted during college hours.
The fees is a little too overpriced at a few aspects.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been very good since last few years. The average package stands there at 4-4.5 LPA , the lowest package offered would be 3.25 LPA and the highest has been 54 LPA not totally sure. By the end of 6th semester the students are eligible for registering in the placement drives and the time 7th semester starts the placements drives begins. I am in my 7th semester , till now around 10-12 companies have visited the college for job roles of software developer , full stack developer , ui/ux designer , data analyst , etc. 3 months have passed and around 350 students have recieved offers from atleast one company.

Likes

Placements are very good in our university. They are also imroving the records day by day.
Infrastructure and campus life is also very good here. The university organizes multiple fest for the students.
Faculties are very good here all of them are very helpful, all of them are highly qualified and are well known in tech field.

Dislikes

The fees our university is increasing on yearly basis and this affects the affordability of the course.
The libraries still have the old stock of books, they need to use some latest books for the students.
The learning can be made more practical based. Practical learning can be increased to grow better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been into machines and computes ever since and therefore CSE was natural to me. Our university is one of the best universities for CSE. They provide practcal based learning, they have modern clasrooms with smart boards and projectors, well equipped labs and libraries. Our curriculum is based on the latest technologies used in the industry and which is best for the students. We have two examsin a semester as mid semester exam and end semester exams. The exam level is moderate to little high, the students who have focused in class can easily clear the exam.

Review of Graphic Era Hill University

Likes

Faculties are the best of their fields with high qualifications and are well known in the tech fields.
Placements and internships are very good here and is getting better every year. They also provide session to prepare for placements.
They have good infrastructure and students have a great campus life here. They organizes multiple fest for the students.

Dislikes

Library has old stocks of books, the university needs to fix this problem as soon as possible.
the faculties can provide more practical knowledge by adding industry based learning.
The fees is not much cost-effective, it is easily affordable for the students.
