Abhinav RoyInt.M.Sc Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal (2018)

Amity University Kolkata is a good option to pursue a degree in law. It offers an LLB honors degree across 5 years and has a good mix of theory, research, and practical subjects.

The table below gives a brief overview of the law degrees offered by Amity University Kolkata.

Courses	BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), and BCom LLB (Hons)
Duration	5 years
Course Eligibility	Minimum 50% in class 12
Total Intake	150
Placement Rate	75%
Fees	INR 8.23 Lakh

You can talk to the law department of the institute about your concerns, while you go for admission. You can also talk to the faculties about it.

Discussed below are a few important points that you should know about the Law program at Amity.

Students who opt for the law courses are required to take additional 4 to 5 subsidiary subjects like French or German as part of their open elective courses.
The fees are on a slightly higher scale compared to other institutes. Being a private institution, the fee structure per semester is high compared to Calcutta University and other such universities.
The institute is very strict in terms of attendance and all students are required to have a minimum attendance percentage of 75% mandatorily in order to be able to appear for examinations.

Hence, regarding a program in LLB, students can surely opt for Amity University Kolkata. One of my friends is pursuing her law degree from Amity and she had a good experience.
