Likes
- Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester and there are a vast number of companies that visit this college every year and the placement rate is pretty good.
- Nice faculty and they also conduct various hackathons , events etc
- Life at gitam is best we have fun activities and clubs which are pretty active and engaging.
Dislikes
- But after few months students will get irritated
- A bit disappointed when comes to events because may i expected alot but didn't reach upto the mark
- I dont like the stray dogs present in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is not always relevant to the course since we have ti choose an open elective subject every semester from different branches. But other than that, the core subjects are pretty relevant.

- Infrastructure is very good, they constantly try to make it a better place.
- Labs, workshops, sports, events and many extracurricular activities
- Location is very far for the city so travelling is too much
Dislikes
- Placements is a very low, due to which get job is a very difficult thing. But they are improving in this sector
- Course duration is very quick compared to other colleges, so it’s very stressful
- Fee amount is way too high compared to other colleges.
Placement Experience:
I plan to go for masters and majority plan the same. Mostly placement are very very low and the college is trying to improve the placements by making the curriculum are strick and improving the standards for students. More companies are visiting Gitam Hyderabad but in the Vizag college majority of the companies as it is the main campus.

- Canteen,ground,labs, and acess to every book in the library
- Environmental nature, college fests,flash mobs
- Friendly behaviour of the faculty, and also every student has a lineance to play sports
Dislikes
- Lack of hospitality in which they were improving now

In 2023, the highest package offered was INR 23 LPA, and the median package was INR 5.50 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, Zuari Cements, Verizon, and DBS Bank.
GITAM University also has a Career Guidance Center that helps prepare students for placement interviews.

- Collage timings I think they should keep 9 to 4

In gitam University they provide placements in the semister of 7th they will provide.they provide companies like Amazon , Wipro all other software companies and hardware companies, 8points its the eligle for getting placement, my plan is after degree to get a job from top companies

- Hostel food is better than other hostels out thier
- Classrooms look very much good I liked it

- Teaching faculty I didn't like at all, too much pressure
- Hostel rooms are too small very conjusting,they fit 2 people in a very small room

Placement chances are very much low in the college last year among 1500 students only 50 got selected and got job others had to go out of the college and try jobs by their own and in this competitive world finding good jobs is very much difficult

- Gitam encourages students in various aspects so that we can choose our owm path
- Professors are good and friendly with the students

- Hostel food is not that good though they maintain hygiene taste will be disappointing
- The college is too far to the city transportation from here to city is not available all the time

Since this is a private university the syllabus will be upto date so that it will helpful to the students while entering into the real world and it will be helpful to answer in the interview so academic wise this university is good

- I really liked the environment at the University
- I liked the classes and the opportunitues there
- I liked the resources and the faculty at the University

- Behaviour of other branch students, though not all of them
- Things are a bit slow, could speed up things there
- I don't really have a thing to not like at the University
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are many opportunities in the field i have choosen. I took this course upon my interest. We are given many placement opportunities and the seniors are very supportive and helpful to us. If there is any query you can approach the faculty or your seniors.

- Organisation of events such as hackathons, dance programs, and teach talks
- Air conditioned class rooms with sound proofing walss and incorporation of technology such as projectors and speakers in classroom environment
- Existence of a Venture Development Center tha encourages student to participate in entrepreneurial activities and get insights into industries
Dislikes
- Campus to too big to navigate to different classrooms across different blocks
- Confusing geometry of the building that makes it more difficult to navigate to classrooms
Course Curriculum Overview:
The resources provided by gitam library is enough to cover most of the syllabus. Apart from that I can also utilise the teachers notes and can also refer to third part material such as YouTube, research articles and other text books. The syllabus is well updated and I believe is pretty helpful to the students.

- College environment is really good. Faculty don’t pressurise you.
- You have the freedom to do your own things, from course registration to faculty selection
- The food facility is really good here, there are different canteens and cafe
Dislikes
- College starts a little early, it starts around 8 am
Placement Experience:
There are both internship and campus placements options. The college conducts a training course every semester for campus placement exam where they teach you each topic that would come in an placement exam

- easy evaluation and labs are good and 5 days a week college
- sports and extra curricular activities are good and events and fests are awesome

- placement training and bringing more non IT companies for placements
Placement Experience:
Generally the placements in our college is good. It provides Average salarly upto 450000 per annum. But this time the placement percentage is decreased due to recession and more Non IT companies are brought rather than IT for placements which i did not like . But if you take the course seriously the college will definetly provide a good placement for you
