Adamas University Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The syllabus is well designed as per the UGC CBCS course structure and everything is well designed. Faculties are very talented, helpful, freindly. There taught really well. All of them are PhD from reputed universities all over india (IITs, NITs atec.). Most of them have post-doc experiences in reputed isntitutes. Teacher student ration is about 1:3 to 1:4. We can approach to them any time, even in the middle of the night for academic reasons and even for personal reseaons. Overall, it a very good atmosphere for learning.

I wanted to become a Physicist, so I decided to apply for a degree in Physics at Adamas University. I have been at Adamas for the past 6-7 months. Sometimes the university conducts a seminar where professors from renowned institutions such as IIT Kanpur, IISC Banglore come to discuss their research and share some insights into the field. At Adamas (for B.Sc Physics Hons.), the faculty to student ratio is 1:3. Most of the professors did their postdoc research from foreign universities and are still publishing papers in their respective fields.

The placements are average and only very hardworking students get high packages. Here you can get average package of 3lacs per annum. The CDC train the students for placements and mainly mass recruitment happens here.

I choose this course because my best subject is chemistry. Faculty-student ratio 1:3. There are two exams in one semester. mid-semester 20 marks+ end semester 40 marks+ project & assignment 40 marks. In total 100 marks.

There are career development cell (CDC) for the placement of the students. The final year students are eligible to sit in placement. CDC provides different type of extra classes of soft skills, aptitude and domain languages etc to prepare its students for placement. 60% students (approximately) gets placements in different companies.

The reason behind me choosing this college was that the university is fitted with very high tech laboratories and classrooms which are needed for good research work. I want to pursue research in future and therefore wanted to build a good base for it. This university provided me that opportunity to grow and learn.

The CDC cell helps students for placement. The final-year students are eligible for placement. CDC gives special training to the students to make them industry-ready. The GIS companies, survey-based companies visit the campus for placement.

Basically in this course minimum, 60 % of 12th marks required. B.Sc Honours in Chemistry is a good choice for next time job application. Cause of every company example oil companies, food companies, medicines& Drug company related to chemistry. So, after this course, you will find a better job. And also you will do research in future. After the Course companies offered the lowest salary 20,000 and heights salary approx 50,000. Students required % forgot an internship programme minimum CGP must be avobe 6.5.

The factors that made me choose Adamas University is the availability of different programs in psychology, the availability of scholarship schemes for international students, experienced faculty members and hostel facilities were available.

College management is coming in nature under ready to help us with any difficulties that we meet although because of their great management skills we hardly face any problem but if any student still requires some help their more than glad to help him or her out.
