Admission to the university is facilitated through a special quota for students from Mahatma Gandhi College, Lalpur, affiliated with Sidho Kanho Birsha University. The process involves filling out a form after graduation and attending a counseling session, which took place on February 14, 2014. The department boasts five well-qualified professors with diverse credentials, such as NET, SET, JRF, PhD, and multiple master's degrees. They conduct a minimum of 360 lectures each semester.
