Scholarships for GATE qualified candidates: As per the norms of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), all the GATE qualified candidates receives a Post Graduate Scholarship of INR 12,400/- per month through its Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme to full time GATE qualified students admitted to AICTE approved programs, Master of Engineering, Master of Technology and Master of Architecture courses in AICTE approved Institutions and AICTE approved University Departments. All the M. Tech. Programs of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are approved by AICTE for GATE scholarships. Scholarships offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham: Students can avail scholarships worth INR 1 LPA, for M.Tech programs and additional scholarships of INR 10,00,000 per student on joining integrated M.Tech and PhD courses. Highly motivated students are also given ample opportunities to pursue dual degree programs with universities in Europe, US and Australia.

What are the hostel facilities like at Amrita University?

Amrita University hostels have separate hostels for girls and boys. First-year students generally share rooms, while final-year and PG students may be provided with single rooms. Rooms have basic facilities in the form of a bed, table, chair, and cupboard. The accommodation is vegetarian and the cooking is done in clean kitchens. Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels along with hot water and laundry facilities. Gyms and games facilities are also provided. i pay yearly 3 lakhs including hostel and in amrita there is no lab fees and all everything will be from th fees we paid and all my batch mates pay the same fees, but for our juniors there was scholarship so they paid only 2.7 lakhs and they need no merit its for everyone

I have a friend studying at this University for B.Tech program. So, I can give you authentic insights about the Bangalore and Coimbatore campus on the basis of his reviews. The university offers B.Tech in various specializations like CSE, EEE, ME, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.

For admission to the B.Tech course, the fee structure depends upon the campus you choose. The details are below for the two main campuses, Coimbatore and Bangalore.
