Great Academics, Peaceful Campus — But Not for the Free-Spirited

Fees and Financial Aid:

I went to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. I got 11k rank in the AEEE. I paid 4L per year since I didn't complete my 12th in Tamil Nadu. There was no break-up provided for the fee. For few of my batchmates it was 3L per year since they had completed their 12th in TN.

The fee structure is totally based on the AEEE exam which is the Amrita entrance exam, for my rank I have got the third fee slab which is 250000 there are no other ways to get a scholarship, the only way to get a free low is to get good rank in AEEE, there will be a hike in the fee of we fail to score minimum cgpa, the min cgpa is 7.0 for maintaining the fee slab got for us, the fee is less compared to other top colleges.

Genuine Review for my college

The fee structure of this University is based on the entrance exam which is AEEE rank, for different rank zones there are different fee slabs, for my rank I got the first fee slab, as per the rules if the cgpa is below after the first year then the fee slab will he hiked as per students cgpa, as per now there is no financial assistance for anybody, as I am still in the second year I don't know about jobs for our group.

The course fee is 1.5 lakh and the hostel fee is 1 lakh, but the hostel food is nasty, not maintained well has no sanity, no items, only sambar, lunch is horrible, chapati is adorable, curd is like water, chutney is like color water.

Fees is bit higher but comparing to other deemed universities Amrita is bit low and it also provides 3 tier scholarships for students who secured more marks in AEEE or JEE Mains or PUEE and you easily get education loans through bank.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The course fee was 4 lakh and the other costs were around 9 thousand. Good scores were also needed in the entrance exam from there the eligibility was clear. The scholarship facilities were available at the University but I had not opted for any of the scholarships from the university because I had not required any of them.

If you get very good ranks in the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam, you are eligible for scholarship. The scholarship ranges from 25% waiver to 100% waiver. But to maintain the scholarship, you must score good grades (gpa above 8).
