Course Details
Sharda University Admission 2023 for the BCA course is ongoing. Students can apply by visiting the official website of the university. The last date to apply for the application is yet to be announced by the university. The admission is mainly done based on the SUAT entrance test. Sharda University is one of the leading prestigious institutes in the country and ranks 5th in the NIRF Ranking 2020 in the category of Universities. The institute was established in 1996 and is privately funded under the act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. The University is located in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.
Sharda University has established itself as a progressive educational institute with prolific faculty. Sharda University is approved by the University Grant Commission and has the power to award degrees under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.
BCA is a three-year undergraduate program that aims at studying the fundamentals and comprehensive study of Computer Applications.
Sharda University offers a BCA course in two specializations- Bachelor’s in Computer Applications and BCA in Multimedia and Animation.
For admission into the course, candidates need to pass class 12 from a recognized board/institute.
Sharda University BCA Eligibility Criteria 2023
- Indian Citizens along with International Students are equally eligible to pursue the BCA course.
- Indian Citizens must have passed the class 12 board examination from a recognized board with an aggregate percentage of 50 % marks. Along with it, candidates must have studied Mathematics/Statistics/Computer/Information Science as one of the subjects.
- For International Students, candidates must have scored 50% in the qualifying examination along with the prerequisite subjects for admission into the BCA program.

Sharda University BCA Admission Guidelines
Candidates scoring below 70% marks in the class 12 examination need to sit for the SUAT entrance test. Candidates scoring above 70% marks can take direct admission based on class 12 marks.
How to Apply?
- Register on the Admission portal of Sharda University.
- Candidates after successful registration would be issued a unique ID and password.
- Candidates need to keep the ID and password with themselves as it would be required in the entire admission process.
- Candidates can appear for the SUAT entrance exam and upon selection, candidates need to pay the fees within 15 days of selection.
- Candidates need to register themselves in the Administrative office or the respective Schools or departments as per the schedule notified by the University.

Sharda University BCA Scholarship
Candidates need to apply online to avail themselves of the various scholarship schemes as per the eligibility criteria of the institute. Candidates are awarded scholarships based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. Candidates achieving 95% or above can avail of a 100% scholarship and likewise, the category and scholarship vary.
Along with it, candidates who have excelled in sports at the National or State level can get up to 10% to 80% of scholarships in the first year. A 5% scholarship is provided to candidates from defense personnel, paramilitary, military, or Army background. Similarly, siblings studying at Sharda University and Wards of staff of Sharda University can also apply for the Scholarship and can avail of it.

I choose BCA because it was related to computer science and as well as related to management as well. The course structure was good and it had all the subjects according to my interests. The faculty is very supportive and honest, they will help you in every directions. The faculty is well qualified and geniune who have good experience in teaching as well. We have tests before every exams which help us in revising the topics. These tests are not hard to pass they are easy and it will boost your confidence.

Faculty are good in college, they are supportive. the ratio of class strength is 40 students per class. faculties are masters and doctorates. they have good knowledge of their respective subject. extra curricula activities are also done here.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure of the college is very expensive.even for the hostel they are charging 70000 per year in which we are only for the 4 months in hostel and the rest time we are in home.they are charging very expensive either the college or hostel did not deserve it.
