Master's degree (2-year after 3-year bachelor's, or 1-year after 4-year bachelor's) in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks or CGPA of 5.5/10.

M.Phil. with 55% aggregate marks or CGPA of 5.5/10 is also accepted.

Ques. Can a working professional pursue the PhD (Management) programme at JIIT Noida?

Ans. Yes, JIIT Noida offers a Part-Time PhD option for working professionals who can produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer and demonstrate that adequate research facilities exist at their workplace. However, part-time scholars are not eligible for the institutional Research Fellowship of Rs. 45,000/month. They must attend all semester seminars and performance evaluations in person.

Ques. Is the JIIT PhD Entrance Test mandatory for all candidates, or can it be waived?

Ans. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (with result category 2 or 3, i.e., eligible for PhD admission) or CSIR-JRF or equivalent national-level examinations are exempt from the written entrance test and are called directly for an interview.
