Eligibility Criteria
Candidate’s who have passed 10+2/equivalent exam in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024 are eligible to apply.Candidates with gap year (if any) between their 10+2 and admission to UG programs will be required to submit a Gap Period Affidavit (available at the university website).
Candidates should have minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination and should have secured a Pass grade in all subjects. The candidate should have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship.

This college is expensive. Wehave to pay 3.45 lakh yearly and 2 lakh for hostel fees Our tution fees per sem is 134300 and development fees is 3300 Theres only quotas for sc/sc not for obc Caution money is 20000 and they give NRI quota too but their fees is too high , they give around 10 lakh per year and 2 lakh extra for hostel They also provide fee waiver but certain conditions are there like only girl child parents income shoukd be less than 50000 per month There are many scholarship but only for if youre financially weak If you're not financially weak they gonna charge you full fees But the fees won't increase every year . It is contabt for 4 years so total btech fees of ours will be 14 lacs . And if we add hostel then add 8 lacs more

- Classroom size, the classrooms are quite good with around 30 students in each batch.
- Teachers, the professors are quite good as they help students a lot.
Dislikes
- Sports facility, the sports facility is jiit is quite poor as they have a very limited space of only 15 acres
- The timing of classes, sometimes we've our classes form 9-9:55 am and then the other class is scheduled at 2:25 pm

My Annual fees is 334600, for the first year and yes it increases. The total fees for 4 years of btech is 1441900, excluding the hostel fees which is 1 lakhs per semester. Our college provides scholarship opportunities to ews student with its policy called as tution waiver fees program.

Including the tuition fee was a little high and also other charges like management charges were there and for scholarships were there and many more things that will help you to learn many things there was many societies that were there and the seniors there who will help us to learn and earn scholarships.

In my opinion the fees is quite expensive to be fair. Spending 20-25 lakhs on a college degree doesn't serve a great purpose in the end if you are just getting an average placement of 6-7 LPA. I neither got any scholarship nor any financial assistance

I'm currently in the 3rd semester and there's not been much of an increase in the fees but the fees are already a little higher according to the facilities. There are no such scholarships are provided by the college but the state government provides scholarships to the respective students

The fee structure is likely to be about Rs. 1,10,000/- semester but in our case there is covid relaxation which is 12% so we have to pay only Rs. 80,000 tuition fee. In the admission letter offer, they mentioned the whole 8-semester fee structure. Children who are Army brats can avail of scholarships up to 25%. Currently, I'm in my final year and there is placement season going on.

There are several factors which one can consider while comparing two institutions. Here are some things that I considered while choosing my college.
NIT Hamirpur will offer you the prestigious ‘NIT’ tag. As compared to other colleges in this region, the environment over there is superior. By environment I mean the learning, interaction and personal development offered at an institution. The placements are continuously improving with new companies visiting the campus each year, offering better packages. This college has shown positive growth in terms of exposure and student- teacher interaction as well.
Even though I’m a student of NIT Hamirpur, my opinion is devoid of such biases. Thus, according to me, NIT Hamirpur is a better choice for your CSE program.
