It is not good for Mechanical Engineering because every Private University and Institute have a placement in CS & IT.
Placement opted students got 90-95% got the jobs. Major Companies like Wipro Solutions, Pie Infocomm, Genpact, Balarka, Ericsson, TCI Express etc.
90 percent student got placed. Students get 250000-300000 per annum. The most interesting is that students get placed in good places like TVS , HDFC, ICICI, Volkswagen, Amar Ujala, policy Bazar , etc.
The campus of the college is really good you can sit and relax im green well grounds, gardens, canteens.
Infrastruture of the college is also really well build.
There are some good areas like teaching methodology, infrastructure. And there are certain grey areas like providing good placements/internships.
So if they improve the level of placements or internships and lessen the unhealthy politics filled environment then it can be a highly recommended college to study in.
As computers was my passion i took BCA in IU. I want to become a software developer IU is helping me bringing out the best within me. I took admission on the basis of my 12th standard marks.
The entrance exam was conducted by the college itself. Which was followed by an interview. I took both of them.It has no comparison to the new colleges. It has a huge. Huge campus which is really important in a students life.
Seniors are nice and there is no regging as there is strict rules on reggings. Seniors motivates the juniors towards the activities and other events which takes palce in the college.
There is no such entrance exam for this university , all that matters is your +2 board marks. The cut-off to this university is relatively higher for OC - it's 98℅, BC - 96℅ , SC-88℅ . I come under BC category and I scored 92.8 ℅to get into this institution.
To get an admission in this course, you need to fill the admission form available at the college's desk and submit it. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to fill the form and you can make the application fees payment there itself.
