Remarks

There are some good areas like teaching methodology, infrastructure. And there are certain grey areas like providing good placements/internships. So if they improve the level of placements or internships and lessen the unhealthy politics filled environment then it can be a highly recommended college to study in.

Entrance Preview

I gave UPTU exam, opted for this college because word of mouth of this college was very positive. And healthcare specialization in MBA was available only at Invertis.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed extensively covering all important aspects of MBA. All the topics covered in each subject are very apt and will help the student in understanding the subjects. In marketing & healthcare all the important aspects are covered with sufficient examples and case studies to enhance the teaching methodology.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they try to provide support in this area. But the companies they choose are not very famous & good. Students have to in many cases search for their internships on their own. The system or management of the institute lacks proper direction in this area.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placements are the pain area of this University. As the placements which they provide are not satisfactory. The standard of companies which they call for placements are not at all up to the mark. Politics and manipulative games in the management has spoiled the structure and has damaged the system a lot.

College Events

1

Invertia, Marathon are the major events. Invertia is a 4-5 day program. Where one day is dedicated to celebrity performance called the Star Night. Celebrities like Mohit Chouhan, Ali Asgar, Mouni Roy have performed at the campus. Marathon is usually organised to spread a social message or to show the social cause which they support.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive as the additional costs are many apart from the basic fees. Bus fees, examination fees, medical insurance fees all such are additional costs the student has to bear apart from the fees. As per the fees there should be some other facilities which can be added.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. They offer a student exchange program where students from colleges (their clients) abroad are invited to stay on campus for 2-3 months and also students from this college go there.

Campus Life

4.5

Very disciplined campus life can be observed. As the management never compromises on the rules they have framed. Like cellphones are not allowed on campus. Proper college uniform has to be maintained at all times. Girls will always feel safe as the management is very very strict in issues concerning girls safety. Eve teasing or any such practice is strictly banned.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is constructed nicely but lacks the facility or coolers. The mess food is not at all upto the mark and students time and again complain about it. But free wifi is available for students. Also library, computer lab is available for hostel students.

Alumni/Alumna

Their alumni network is weak because of their inability to provide promising placements to their old students. Also no major efforts are put from the management side to call their old students in campus or to felicitate them in a more better way.

Exam Structure

Exams and attendance in classrooms are taken very seriously here. Cheating is not taken casually at all. The question papers are designed with a lot of effort. As all conceptual and practical questions are there. Exams access the students in a very very correct way as the difficulty level of the exams is high.

Admission

You fill the admission form, write your past education qualifications. On your score merit or through sports quota you become eligible to ask for a rebate in fees. Then there is an personal interview round. Then you will be told to pay Rs 20,000 as the enrollment fees.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college teaching MBA are well qualified. They help the students to analyse and learn difficult subjects in an interesting way. Practical methodologies are used, teaching through power point presentations are encouraged more. Visuals methods of teaching is used more.

The college is good but there are some issues which I have in this college like long lectures of 1.5 hours they are very tiring they should be of 1 hour maximum and no proper timing of a day as it can get very long as lab sessions can get long up to 6 or 6:30 pm even when the college gets over on 4:30 pm. No holiday on Saturday. Which makes 6 working days in a week which is just too much. Every human need some personal time on weekends.

A global perspective in terms of course structure, teaching methods, technology integration, emphasis on leadership, human values and team skills are some of the unique features of the programs offered by the department. Exposures to practical applications and industry interaction to develop insights into contemporary industry practices are integral parts of the curriculum. Case discussions are extensively used to develop analytical and decision making skills of the managers. The objective is to develop problem-solving skills in complex business situations, apply management concepts in real life situations and exhibit leadership traits. Great emphasis is laid on presentation skills of students. Organizational based studies, industry reports, Internet based assignments, and summer internship as well as comprehensive projects are facilitated.
