- The girls to boys ratio is 2:3. The girls face a lot of eve-teasing still
- There are some good faculties that enjoy teaching and have interactive classes.
- The office staff are very helpful as well as the placement committee.
Dislikes
- The students lack initiative and motivation while potential is high.
- The hostel timing is 7.30 for girls while the boys have no real restrictions.
- The rules are very strict for girls. There is no airconditioner in hostels and you have to pay if u want to bring your own.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is outdated to say the least. I was guided by a family friend to study here. The curriculum will not help us in the corporate world. There are other options such as the incubation center and placement cell where you can volunteer to enhance your resume.

Placement Experience:
semester 5, only a few companies visited and the offers made were fine, the average that went was 4,00,000/-, and a few came with offers of 5,00,00/- as well, the process of the CRC is not that good. Though they have improved a lot in coming years as of now.

Students are eligible from their last year to sit in the placements and from the first year to apply for the internships.
Companies like Mahindra, Honda, Yes Bank, Tech Bicano, Wipro visits the campus and the highest package offered from last year was 9 lakhs and the average is 5 to 6 lakhs.

My plan was to get shifted in a long-term company.
From gbu I got placed in lic as a marketing executive and last year I got promoted to marketing manager.
The overall placement is gbu is based on your skills only I am one of them who got the highest package in 2019 from gbu. My package was 11lakh and the average at that time was 6 to 7 lakh

From their last year students can sit and apply for cous placements in gbu and for internships they can apply as freshers in job fair organized by the college every year before summer vacations to let students explore and acquire interviewing skills .
In job fair nearby companies are invited for internships.
The campus placement percentage of gbu is more than 70 percent . The highest package of gbu is 10 lakh till now and the average is 4 to 5 lakh.

The placement cell of the gbu is very helpful in getting all the inquiries of the companies visiting the campus.
Students are allowed to sit in the campus placements from their last year.
The highest package of the gbu in my course from last year was 8 lakhs per annum.

My plans are straightforward to get a good placement either on or off-campus. The highest package offer in my batch was 9 lakhs and the average was 4 to 6 lakhs from last year records. I like the placement cell of GBU as they organise a job fair for internships for freshers and the overall placement percentage is more than 75%.

My plans are straight either to get a long-term secure job or do my PhD from good ranking college. The percentage in gbu is based on students capabilities the only college provides and invites many companies like bicano, hp, samsung lido on the campus but the overall placement percentage is 70 and the average package given to the students is 6 to 7 lakhs and the highest from last year in my course is 10.5lakh.
Students can apply for internships in a job fairs organized by the college from their first year but for the placements, they are allowed from their last year only.

The campus placement of the GBU is just fine, the college does not provide any 100% placement guarantee, there is only 70 to 80% placement is there. Inspite of campus placement college arranges job fairs too for the placements in internships for the freshers I got my internship as hr in lido learning from the job fair. Companies like lido leaning Byjus tech and IMT visits the campus but the overall placement is dependent upon the student's skills and marks.

My plans after the degree are straight to get a placement for long term future settlement or to do PhD in the same course.
The highest package was 10 lakhs in my course and the average from last year was 5 to 6 lakhs. The companies like lido leaning, byjus, Vedanta visit the campus and the students are eligible from their last year to sit in the campus placements for jobs while for internships they can sit as freshers too.

Gautam Buddha University (GBU) has a beautiful campus. It is surrounded with lush green gardens and a huge campus. It is a state government university with well maintained infrastructure.
Here are some facts about it:
- The faculty members are highly experienced. Most of them being from IITs and NITs. Guest faculties are also there.
- For students interested in sports, they offer their own stadium, a football and cricket field and also a basketball and badminton court.
- The hostels are really good and they offer single room occupancy.
- The mess is average, as the food is affordable but has less variations.
- Placements here are really good and have improved a lot recently.
- Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra were the frequent recruiters.
- Now other companies like Byju’s, Cognizant and HCL are also taking part in their placement program.
- A student with a good academic performance receives an offer of 6-8 LPA.
At GBU students get to explore themselves. You will have a new experience everyday. Always keep in mind to balance your studies and your free time. GBU will provide you lots of opportunities for both research and placements.
