Jagran A College of Emotions

Likes

The canteen of our college is very good and provides healthy food like salads,sprouts,etc.
The teachers are experienced and interactive
College campus is very neat and clean and ragging free.

Dislikes

Students are irregular and do not give importance to attendance.
A few teachers do not provide proper notes.
Teachers are good but some faculty members are disrespectful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Jagran for BCA is very traditional understandable and practical. The reason for me to choose this college among others is the feedback of some senior students. Teachers faculty members and the time they give towards development of students also attracted me to join this college

You'll like the flexibility more than I liked in my college as I was not a regular kid but if you want to skip your home and bunk class and just spend time in the college campus you're welcomed as no one will interrupt untill you damage discipline.
The teaching style of all teachers would severely be appreciated by all of you as they show no anger or stress.They focus on study and help you to grow in study only if you want to...
The friendly nature of students- this will surprise you but unlike most of the colleges the students of my college are more friendly and will never disrespect you and would even invite you to the group even if they don't know you.

Dislikes

The lack of cultural activities would be a disliked gesture for me as I thought of having a lavish college life but the things changed as years passed by and I came to know that not many fests happen to occur in this college.
Office staff arrogance - This happens sometimes that the office staff out of frustration tries to deny your work and will show you the exit but I repeat this happens in a very low chance
Sports events not occur at a high pace and the crowd at canteen gathers and fights for chair because of poor infrastructure of college canteen area stops me from going there and is not appreciated by me.

Placement Experience:

My college have a low campus placement percentage as not more companies visit but still our college has a 30-40 annual hiring of students in campus placements. In Jagran College the internship is applicable for students of second and third year of BCA. The thing never stressed me because of my degree as I was in BCA the hiring would never ever stop. The Era is of computer how can some company limit the staff because if you develop enough skill you can even make out-campus placements.

Likes

Psit have well and good infra its a beautiful college
This college provide every type of facility
Their faculty wass too supportive and thery are well qualified

Dislikes

In this college there is attendece criteria of 90 perecent
This college is very strict in every aspect
If students do any type of undiscplined so they gotta fine

Placement Experience:

In my college in 5 sem students are eligible for placements. Many company visited like tcs,wipro,pyramid,accenture and many more. In every batch 120 to 150 offers students get Highest pacakage in bca is 8 lpa and average are 3 to 4 lpa Almost 60 percent students are placed I want to do mca after completing bca

A decent college for aspirants

Likes

The rules and regulations here were very strict and I loved it
I am a bit of an introvert person so I didn't get along with many people.
The campus infrastructure was much better than other colleges

Dislikes

Sometimes it felt like a jail instead of a college, which I didn't like.
Social activism was not enough as I was starting to feel bored
And the last thing which I did not like was the display of luxury here.

Placement Experience:

By the time they enter the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placement. If we talk about companies, companies like TCS, Wipro select students for campus placement with the highest package.My course is worth 9 lakhs and the average package is up to 3 lakhs. 80 percent of students get selected in placement.

The course is out dated aa if not relevant to the current market requirement the course is based on very old syllabus you have to focus on self learning and get lastest course by yourself and complete the course in time

Psit insider fact

Likes

Pranveer singh institute of technology : renowned for its engeneering and management program
Really good infrastructure and facilities are also fine , qualified and knowledgeable.
Last year 98% of the students at psit were placed

Dislikes

Fees is very high comarely to other UPTU college.
For small mistake they will impose a heavy fine
As per the norms of the institute, 95% attendance is compalsary.

B.tech -- pranveer singh institute of technology offers good learning resources and facilities to students.tge facilities are highly qualified and have year of experience in teaching. Bca and other programs - all other programs are also good.

A Decent College

Likes

Facultirs are well trained and experienced.

Dislikes

No recess time in between lectures to get refresh.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from fifth semester. Many companies visited like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc. Around 50% students are getting placed from college placement. After getting degree I am planning to seek post graduation.

Extremely big campus with good facilities.
Best faculty for guidance and counseling
Good environment for students and hygiene canteen

Dislikes

Very strict rules regarding campus premises
Huge fine for less attendence and other activities
Time table like corporate office 9 to 5 .

Placement is good in college many companies visit college like Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, detolite and many more. Student are eligible for placement in final year. student can also apply off campus

Faculties and facilities are fabulous there is anti-ragging because of this there is no ragging we are free to explore without any fear campus environment is so cool . There is extracurricular activities we have a lot of fun .
I am NSS secretary member of Student Council and Recently I organized Freshers party for my juniors me and my team have a successful event
Here placement is very good . You have to grab them . You should have skills

Dislikes

I don't think there is such things that I dislike
Some changes I want just like campus is very big so I want students should have some facilities to reach their department
Nothing I dislike and I hope everyone like this college because it has a great environment

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement Companies name: Imphosys, TCS etc The highest package of BCA is 7lpa Above 7 cgpa After getting the degree I will complete my Master of computer application (MCA)

My college

Likes

College is very good for students because here apart from studies, attention is given to sports and other things too.
My engagement with campus life is quite good
But if you want placement then you will have to work hard yourself, you cannot depend on the college

Dislikes

The faculty here is not that good, if you leave out one or two teachers then the faculty is useless
If you leave out one or two faculties then they cannot teach very well
Yes, there are functions through which you can develop your professional life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If we talk about the course curriculum, the exam is not that hard, it can be passed by studying a little bit, but the university conducts the exam anytime, there is no fixed time for it, the exams are done very quickly.

No, you will need to maintain a 75% attendance at all times as per the rules and classes are held between Monday to Friday between 8 am to 5 pm.

Yes, UIET CSJMU offers B.Tech CSE with Aritificial Intelligence program. Admission to this program is based on the merit of JEE Main followed by counseling conducted by the university. However, the admission process for the 2022-23 academic session has been closed.
