Amity Lucknow review

Likes

The environment , Calmness and the Helpful natue of the faculty
Good infrastructure and security as well
Has gymnasium and indoor sports room as well

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (75%) , same in every college
Only 1 sporting event in a whole year for the students
strict time table and schedule for classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some specicfic aspect that made me choose cse is the need of it in the mean time and in the near future as well. the curriculum is very well structured for the industry and real world applications they can improve in assignment work and nothing else the timming of exam are like 10AM to 1PM and 2nd shift aslo happen sometimes which are like 2PM TO 5PM

Likes

The thing I liked is that the professors are good and supportive
College organises 3-4 seminars in the gap of 2-3 months which are quite good

Dislikes

College doesn't provide any opportunity for internships or any other opportunities for development
It doesn't have the sufficient scholarship or aid for the financially weaker students students

The course is apt as per the changing environment. Though curriculum is diverse and student friendly but the practical approach of teaching the curriculum is missing. There is need of inclusion of practicality in the teaching

So this is how it's going.

Likes

Stress free environment, I'm free to do whatever I want
No judgemental people, i can roam freely .
No burden of attendance, it is manageable.

Dislikes

Irresponsible people and the faculties, no sense of growth.
No placements at all, what's the use of my graduation then.
Very poor infrastructure, almost furniture is broken.

Placement Experience:

No placements this year, and even if placements happens, just 3-4 lpa package, hardly 1-2 placements more than 20 lpa. Companies don't visit this campus, they often visit Noida campus and we have to go Noida campus for sitting in placements.

The ambience and faculty behaviour , moreover the placement cell .the extracurricular activities. The overall atmosphere os too comforting

Dislikes

The students can be a bit mean and exhausting due to high expectations but it all gets well in a while

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and up to date but we don't always have a good faculty for all subjects so it may happen sometimes when we have to study on our own . But the curriculum and our library os more than sufficient to cover it

Experience of Amity through naked eyes..

Likes

College doesn't restrict too much. Students do have some discipline guidelines that must be follybit it doesn't get too much serious and suffocating.
Classrooms and seats are genuinely on the next level.

Dislikes

The overall vibe of the college is not studious at all. The crowd is not seriously focused.
The faculty can be sometimes so so much uncultured. Some old faculty really don't behave approximately.

Placement Experience:

The president of my colleges not so good that most of the students don't get placed the average placement is around 10 lakhs the highest placement of this year is 24 lakhs per annum till now. Companies do come for placement many big companies do provide their facilities students are not able to clear the rounds and do not get placed that much.

The college is full of exitement and activities. Sport is given a good position parallel to studies.

My College Review: What I experienced

Likes

Course curriculum, Infrastructure and faculties
Infrastructure was excellent administration was also superb and faculties was outstanding.
Hostels facilities was satisfactory and college atmosphere was superb along with highest level of campus. Placement was also very good

Dislikes

Few subjects feels useless like history and law in first semester
Lots of manual assignment instead of practical feels bad
Lack of professionalism in hosted staff.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester placement drive started in my time. Lots of companies came with different criteria for their requirements. Great placement record in my opinion in my time. Companies like: Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Congnigent, Capgemini etc.

Best Private University in Lucknow to enhance your career

Likes

Centralized air conditioner and free WiFi access to the students.
Faculties are very friendly and helpful towards the students
More emphasis over research paper than just bookish studies

The faculties are very well-qualified and knowledgeable and also very helpful towards the students. Various workshops and industrial visits are happening to provide practical exposure to the students which enhances to shape the career of the students.

MY LIFE AT AMITY LUCKNOW.

Likes

The people there and faculty members are always supportive.
It's safe because it's an anti - ragging environment and the seniors are really helpful.
The college emphasizes not only to the academic but also towards to extra curricular activities of students.

Dislikes

The fee structure is a little over the higher side.
The hostel fee structure is also very high.
Students in this college are from high societies so, it can be a problem for some students to mingle with them.

Placement Experience:

My college has a placement rate of 100%, The highest package offered here, in 2022, was 45 LPA and the average package was about 5.5 LPA so, it's upto the students and their academic results. Companies such as - Ford, Samsung heavy industries, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Accenture, etc. have also recruited students from here. INDIAN ARMY and INDIAN NAVY have also recruited students from here if the student wants to have a job in the INDIAN MILITARY.

Likes

Infrastructure of class and library was modern.
Thr campus is very clean abd green. One won't feel living in most populated state's capital.
Teachers were alo supportive and could be easily approached.

Dislikes

Facilities in the hostel could have been more.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts from the last year so in my case, it was the 7th semester. There are 100s of companies but they generally do not come to our campus (they come to the Maib campus i.e. Noida and ee get free accommodation during the placements there). The placement percentage is high for the people opting for placement.

According to the reviews online, Amity University Lucknow is not a good institution when overall academics and placements are concerned.

The faculty are mostly new members who have little to no educational experience.
They are extremely strict about maintaining a 75% attendance, failing which you won't be allowed to sit for the exams.
You do not learn from your mistakes because the corrections in the exams are not done properly.
Placements are not at all good. Students usually go for off-campus placements.
