My experience in Ecc

Likes

Infrastructure is well maintained and the campus is quite spacious .
Faculty are very well experienced and knowledgeable.
Student friendly environment, supporting staff members.

Dislikes

Road inside the campus is very poor or in a bad conition.
Toilets are not well maintained or very old .
Marking scheme is very bad. Some other depts. have very poor faculty.

B.sc program is good for those who are really curious about science and maths and want to learn something new the lab experiments is a region where I think it can get better as lab staff can provide more support to the students here the exam are conducted semester wise which helps us to be fully prepared and have enough time to learn the subject

Likes

Sports competiton are conducted on regular basis
Classrooms and benches are quiet good. Infrastructure is also good
Classes are comducted on regular basis and professors are highly qualified

Dislikes

Universities should be open to everyone but in this university you need to show ID card for entry
Canteens are closed here most of the times.

I liked political science very much . Also I was aware of the Alumni of Allahabad university which includes prime ministers, chief Ministers, presidents and governers. Exams are also conducted on yearly basis

ECC merits and demerits

Likes

Firstly, I liked the whole campus. Campus of Ewing Cristian College gives you a good feel of being studying in any national university.
All the teachers are friendly and hard working. Well experienced teachers who explains every topics with continuous effort.

Dislikes

I dislike few of the things like- teachers in physics department mostly used to teach us with pdf on projector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I heard from my friends that BSc. course is very good from ECC. I realized that it's true and overall good. College gives little pressure for study and conduct examination just after few days of course completion. I think it's right which makes you to be ready in your life for your every effort. College timing and examination timing are well managed and maintained.

Classes are held daily in the college and attendance is taken.
The environment of the college is good and discipline is important here, that's why I like this college.
Teachers come to class every day and teach well, teachers are also very disciplined and so are the children.

Dislikes

Proper marks are not given in the examination. The way we write copy and answer correctly, we do not get marks according to our hard work.
Good marks are not given even in practicals, teachers give good marks only to those whom they like.
The management system is not good, the canteen never opens and outside children also come and disturb them during play time.

My main reason for taking this course was that I will prepare for UPSC but after coming to this college, it seems that I will first get good marks in college and then prepare. Because here teachers don't give marks unless you give your complete deck.

The Real Thing

Chemistry department is best. Teachers have coordinaton with students and have idea to how to give knowledge to student.

Dislikes

No proper schedule for result declaration .
Teachers do not guide us during practicals in physics department,they simply say go and check yourselves

I choose this course for making my career in field of teaching. The curriculum prepared by college is not that much hard, it's based on 12th level 65%. The teaching methods of teachers is not good. Some teachers are however very good at teaching ,their teaching skill is very good and they know how to grab the attention of students for long hours. Exam are taken very frequently. here in my 3rd semester ,the exam was taken after 52 days of starting of semester.

The campus is the best thing as it is vintage and the building are very old so they look nice .
Greenery all over the campus is other thing we love about aur clg

Dislikes

The physics faculty of the college is very bad
Lack of purified water around the campus
Lack of cooling system in classess makes it uneasy to study during Summers

Choosing the combination of electronic and maths was my choice as I like studying both the subjects and these subjects will also help me in cracking lots of exams either private or government. The faculty has to be changed because teachers don't know how to teach and they even don't provide proper notes and course never gets completed on time . 6months timing is enough for one sem but in our college they conduct exams after every 3-4 months .

An autonomous college ECC (Ewing Christian college)

Likes

Ewing Christian college provides NSS and NCC facility for their students. They organised function and seminars on a particular time interval.
Ewing Christian college have water facility, library facilities and the greenary environment etc .
Ewing Christian college have best faculty of teachers ,they provide their own notes for their students ease

Dislikes

Ewing Christian college doesn't have the proper schedule for the semester exams and not having to giving the proper timing of results too.
Ewing Christian college have very strict checking of exams copies.
Ewing Christian college doesn't have good passing results and they tried to fail most of the students to earn the extra money.

Ancient ecc

Likes

Good faculty, best environment, quality teachers
Good sports culture, have a nice building
Have big ground for different sports , have a two library

Timing of the college, some teachers are not good with the students
Not having a proper drinking water system
There lots of the restrictions in the college like attending tha class regularly
