Course Curriculum Overview:

I love pets ,so from childhood itself I want to serve for that voiceless beautiful creatures, and we all know that agriculture is the backbone of nation,and more over agriculture and livestock is inseparable so that's why I chose this course to serve for the farming community. Faculty and students ratio is 10:80, and all the teacher were kind enough to teach us and clearing our doubts with care, we have trimester pattern and one annual board exam, it was little tough but with the help of our teachers we passed our exams with good marks.

I love pet animals. So I had chosen this course. My faculty members are too good at teaching and give good advice. They thought about this world. Exam levels are moderate. We may work hard to build our life good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty in this college is quite good, Teacher-student coordination is always a good view of the teaching. All the professors have field experience as veterinary doctors that helps a lot in the practical part which is the basis of doctor learning, faculty of the various departments are well experienced had done their Ph.D. from foreign universities. All the teaching is done on smart learning(Smart classrooms)with modern aids and methods. Exams pattern:3 internals +1 External Annual board examination at the end of the year, Weightage consists of 20% internal and 80% external. Papers are coming from. other Universities so it's very tough to pass the exams, U have to b regular in your studies. The faculty-student ratio is almost 25:1

Remarks:

By councelling i got this campus Tirunelveli,other veterinary colleges in tamilnadu also good,no problem all are under the government and provide better education facilities. For the top students they can avail which is suitable, for the students who are coming next they should choose where is the vacancy available .

Admission:

The admission for an undergraduate degree is based on merit. Madras Veterinary College (MVC) takes into account the marks scored by a student in class 12. Based upon merit the candidates are shortlisted. The shortlisted ones have to fill an application form and submit the copies of required documents along with the application fee which has to be paid either through card or net banking.

I loved animals ever since I had my first dog. Since then wanted to do something to help them. Students pursuing Higher Secondary Course (10+2) with Biology or Botany and Zoology, Physics and Chemistry in academic stream (or) Agricultural Practices / Dairy / Poultry in vocational stream.

Admission:

I was admitted to this college through counseling. They are counseling based on 12th marks. The merit list is prepared using a medical cut-off. We can select a college based on rank list order. After selection you just have to submitting some necessary documents.
