Periyar University offers an MBA program. It is a two-year full-time post-graduation course. The course is divided into four semesters. There are a total of 15 subjects with an elective or a project.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for the MBA course.
The admissions to the course is entrance based. The accepted entrance examinations are TANCET, MAT, and CAT.

Periyar University MBA Course Details
The duration of an MBA is two years. The two-year program consists of a total of four semesters.
The candidate has studied a total number of 16 subjects among which 15 will be compulsory and the remaining 1 is an elective or a project.
The candidates have to opt for 8 subjects in the first year and the remaining subjects in the second year.
For each written examination, 25% of the marks are awarded by the continuous internal assessment, and the remaining 75% are awarded by the external evaluation.
Candidates with less than 75% attendance are not permitted to sit for the examination of the end semester.

Periyar University MBA Scholarship
The scholarships are provided under the Government of India Scheme for the meritorious and backward class students. The free education scheme has also benefited students with an economically poor background.
