All quota scholarship is best and quota available in all communities.
They also put very hard to teaching us and the department is very nice everyone in department also very good .
Pongal celebrates january month ayudha pooja october month more workshop and conference and yearly once welcome party and farewell the library is very well all subject books available class facility is great yearly once conduct marpio sports

Dislikes

They are not conducting any cultural fest and also after graduating they are not respecting every passed candidates with convocation it's hurtful
They always conduct sports and culturals...but major problem is they conduct only within department not between departments..it's really a great disappointment and they always give less important to cocurricular activities.
In the summer very irritating in experimental learning. beacuse too hot in our region

Faculty members are good and skilled the staffs will provide more handson practice in various programking langages like java , python , c, c++ etc...
college will provide more extra carricular activities like sports , culturals , ncc , nss , etc...

Dislikes

the computers are old in some labs ,specially in microprocessor lab and database management system lab.
no canteen inside college you want to go out of college to buy foods and snacks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

im studying cse (computer science and engineering ) , it teaches various programming languages , web development , app development , datastructure , database management , artificial intellegence , social networking and various current trend platforms and make sure we are eligibe in survive and get jobs in companies.

Campus ,technical facility, Laboratory , Play ground , Ncc division , Medical facilities

It's far away from Chennai central around 300 km

Placement Experience:

In 2008-2012 Sessions there was very less placements in the campuses eventhough Many of the students got placements in india and Out of india too like singapore, Indian coal mines etc . After 6th semester you may eligible to sit in the placement.

I liked in my college was there was excellent infrastructure.
They not take extra classes they take classes on the respective period only

Dislikes

Our college staffs reduced internal marks. For some silly reasons.
Our college does not conduct cultural. It is very worst
Some staffs not come to college properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was not influenced me. I like electrical equipments mostly so i take the course. Our curriculam does not help to survive in real world. Because it was outdated. The course was more theoretical, if they add practical more than theoretical it was helpful to understand quickly.

Likes

Staff teachings method and friendly staffs
Wonderful laboratory we can understand easyly
Very big campus and have 400+ courses in university

Dislikes

Hostel food want to improve more food was not good enough
In the campus no canteen available for refreshment

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student are eligible for campus placement. The placement company are royal Enfield, TCS, INDUSTRY etc Students are with nil arrears can eligible for placement . After completed my degree im going to study for government exam

The management have a good labarotries.lot of equipments are there
The campus is very big and placed in good atmosphere.
It was an one of the popular University.

Dislikes

The university does not have advanced infrastructure.
The hostel also have old infrastructure.
The university does have a farewell day except arts.

Placement Experience:

In our collage lots of companies come for a placement Not a plenty of core companies are there but you can do good off the campus after studying here At the time of admission they will keep promising you that say provide your placement.

My home and college are in same University campus
All study materia are l available in our department and University library
Staffs are very cordial and strict too.teaching very good and dedicated.so far I never see such teachers again in my life

Truly speaking while choosing the curriculum I have no Idea as parents insisted choose the same. But the academic work we went through are really tough and practical method to learn the theory subject too. 1st year one exam and from 2nd year onwards 2 exams every 6 months consider as. One semester. Some papers are really tough to clear

Annamalai University faculty of engineering and technology overall experience

Likes

I like the environment of the college and its friendly staffs.
Our department labs are well maintained and it contains machines that are manufactured before independence.
Our department library is awesome and it has all books regarding our subjects . Our college is taking good steps in placements.

Dislikes

Maintainence is the main problem in our college. If it is maintained,then it will be good.
Our college is less active in cultural side.
Only limited companies arriving at our college for placements.

Placement Experience:

Seventh semester students are eligible for attending placement interviews.PENTAGON SPACE PVT LTD, Chennai, AZENTIO SOFTWARE PVT LTD, Chennai, SPIC are the companies commonly offer placements. Average salary package is 2lpa and the highest package is 15lpa. Nearly 80 percent students got placed.

One of the nice infrastructure University

I love the atmosphere of college and where it's located
Lab facilities are extraordinary in compare to other colleges
Here teaching faculty are friends in nature

Dislikes

About placement opportunities it's very low
They are not conducting any aptitude test interview based skills are not provided
They are not conducting any cultural fest and also after graduating they are not respecting every passed candidates with convocation it's hurtful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mechanical engineering because I love to study engines and also to learn about the powerplant industry. When I studied in my 1st year there was an A to E batch each batch contained 80 students. Here u can see learned and experienced lectures and also all mechanical equipment instruments, engines, CAD lab and different types of boilers are available in the laboratory.

Placement Experience:

In the 4th-semester placement, training will be there. The placements are good. And there are many students getting placed. Communication was lag for most students. So if there is better communication and placement skill everyone can place in this college.

Annamalai University offers a variety of 457 courses across 17 streams. The college offers UG, PG, Diploma courses, and Ph.D. under various departments, such as Department of Engineering & Technology, Arts, Agriculture, Dentistry, Medicine, Fine Arts, Marine Sciences. NIRF ranked the university 92nd overall, in the country last year. The college also offers various courses in distance mode.

Fee Structure- Since it is a state Institution, the fee is very low as compared to other top institutes. The fee charged for some of the courses is as follows-

B.Sc.- 25,570/year
M.Sc.- 36,450/year
MBA- 56,450/year
Ph.D.- 38,400/year
B.Ed.- 42,000/year

Campus life- International workshops, State level sports even and Cultural programs are conducted in the college. The college also provides facilities like wi-fi, library, medical facilities, food and accommodation etc.

Internships- The college also provides internship opportunities and scholarships to the deserving students. The students are selected on the basis of their merit.

Faculty- There are more than 100 lecturers in the university and most of them are Ph.D. scholars and have an expert background.

Placements- The students are considered for the participation for the placement drives on the basis of their academic records.
