Ans. Centre for International Relations (CIR), Alagappa University, explores opportunities for association with Overseas Universities and Institutes for Collaborative Ventures of mutual benefit. CIR extends its arms for building warm relationships with like-minded Overseas Institutions of Higher Learning. CIR also commits to evaluate the Capability, Character and Candidness of Institutions before forging alliances. In addition to research collaborations, building MoU and inviting visiting Professors, the CIR assumes responsibility for exchanging Faculty and Students under Exchange programs to globalized learning and research.

CIR is responsible for admission of students under categories of Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians, People of Indian Origin and Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries for Post Graduate degree (M.A.,M.Com., M.Sc., MBA) and M.Phil. / PhD programs in all disciplines. The essential qualification for enrolment is 10 + 2+ 3 years of education or its equivalent. The medium of Instruction is English.

Ans. There are many important events organised by Alagappa University, like Seminars, Workshops, Trainings, Conferences, etc. Conferences used to cover the exchange of ideas and the comparison of viewpoints among the participants. The Participants could be Staff Members, non-staff members, the Board of Directors or maybe the Head Panel. A small group discussion is conducted in the form of Seminars, focusing on a particular topic. Training sessions are conducted from time to time for updating Skills and knowledge, not only for students but also for staff members. A series of workshops are conducted in the University which aims at carrying out Practical Experiments and Activities.

Ans. ALAGU is a Quarterly Magazine published by Alagappa University. The Publications Division has been bringing out quarterly issues of Azhagu Newsletter. The newsletter has documented all the significant academic events and activities that happened on the campus.

During the third NAAC re-accreditation in April 2017, the Publications Division of Alagappa University played a prominent role by bringing out, to the level of impeccable precision and accuracy, the individual profiles of all the 40 Departments and 36 Centres of the University, and instantly won the acclamation of the Peer Team. Besides publishing a number of scholarly critical works of academic interest, it commemorated the 108th birth anniversary of its Founder, Vallal Alagappar, on 6th April 2017. The Publications Division gears itself up to spread its wings far and wide, come to the forefront from its back-office mode, and make its presence ubiquitous. The Publications Division plans to prominently display all its Publications, present and past, at the entrance of the Administration Building itself. The Division works with verve to smoothly lift off and soar to sublime heights of prominence and create a halo of its own.
