Sikkim University gives relaxation to reserved categories such as SC/ST students. Students belonging from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes get 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Moreover, seat relaxation will be given according to the Sikkim High Court order of 2016, to ST, SC, OBC and Unreserved students. Eligibility Criteria

A Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/B.C.A./B.S./B.Sc./B.Voc.) in the discipline of Computer Science/Information Technology (Regular Mode only) with a minimum of 50% marks / equivalent grade in aggregate for General or 45% marks / equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/DA with Mathematics in 10+2.
Bachelor’s degree in other disciplines with Mathematics at 10+2 level or oneyear bridge course in Computer Science or Information Technology may apply.
Admission is conducted through the CUET PG examination.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees are way less than other university. During first sem we have pay around 13000 after that around 6500 per semester. University also provide nsp scholarship for student. There is also soculial welfare scholarship scheme which mainly for locals. Also one more scholarship for low income student.
