Sikkim Univ MA Mass Comm Fees
The MA Mass Communication programme at Sikkim University is highly affordable as a centrally funded institution. The total course fee for the 2-year programme is Rs. 11,012, which includes a tuition fee of Rs. 4,960 (Rs. 1,240 per semester x 4 semesters) and other one-time charges payable at the time of admission. - Tuition fee for the first semester is paid at the time of admission; subsequent semester fees are due within 15 days of commencement of each semester.
- A late fee of Rs. 25 per day is charged after the 15-day grace period.
- Tuition fee is relaxed by 50% for SU employees, their wards, and Yangang villagers.
- Tuition fee is waived 100% for Differently Abled students, people of Yangang who sold land to the state government, and those belonging to the "Primitive Tribe" of Sikkim.
- Hostel seat rent is relaxed by 100% for SC and ST students.
- Hostel caution deposit is fully refundable upon exit from the hostel.
- Mess fees are charged separately as per the hostel mess committee rates.
