Review of SGVU By a student of it

Likes

The best thing is the teachers are very much supportive and caring and there is no racism in the college or anywhere in the campus.
The campus is very much eco-friendly and the campus is very much big and there is opportunity for students who are interested in sports also.
There is everthing available in the campus which can be needed to a teenager or a adult person and there is also security guards available everwhere.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester Students started getting placements. And there is a one year internship in the 3rd year of BCA(DS).The average package of BCA (DS) is 4 lakhs and the highest package is 10lakhs till now .But there is higher possibility of getting higher jobs for BCA(DS) students now because the new faculty have link with very much companies . I was planning of doing MCA after getting the degree for much higher placements like 1cr something It all depends on your skills or interest

My review on my Campus

Likes

I liked sports department of my campus including technical events that they held every year
I like the overall night environment of my campus as it it has asthetic buildings and open ground
I like the course structure and library and the availilbilty of books

Dislikes

the avarage managment of campus and their behaviour sometimes
my class rooms doesn't have AC and screen projectors in classroom is not maintained properly
the water is salty there I don't know why but it tastes very bad and the hostel food is very bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

my university offers android development and game development, I selected android development during addmission process, so in first ear they thought us basic programming along with java language in second year they are teaching android studio with small projects the curriculam is good as per my experience no points that i can suggest here for improments they take 2 mid term, weekly tests, 2 gradded assignments and practical exam per semester the diffulty level varries from easy to hard

Placement Experience:

Form last 2 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Very low amount of companies come in college placement is very bad. The highest package is 8 lac. Avg is 2-3 lac. 60% or higher. My plan after my degree is to do MCA.

Remarks:

This is one of the best colleges mainly for distance education and they provide the hard copies of materials at your home and they gives the very good response to our queries. The people who don’t want the degree of local universities of their cities they can apply for it and they have more than 3 courses in their campus.
