The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

An Average Chitkara Life

Likes

The college is full of activities which makes students enthusiastic and courageous.
The Chitkara has many opportunities for students to boost them and showcase there Talent
And The last but not the least thing I liked that Chitkara organizes thrilled and good events for students which is necessary and makes students to be happy and friendly with others

Dislikes

The placements is given less in comparison of others
The university should be of single course but Chitkara is full of courses and seems to be a big university like it should of particularly of designing or something else

Placement Experience:

From my knowledge I guess from 2nd semester the students are eligible for placements and there are multiple companies visited and made offers as well even in Chitkara on daily basis companies comes such as Aditya birla group and wipro and many more umm 825000 is highest in my knowledge and percentage of students getting placement would be 100 out of 60 most probably and plans after getting degree is to study further and doing masters from abroad

Includes even subjects like vastu , model making , lighting, sustainable and vernacular design with site visits and sessions with other respective deisgners

Placements are good from the university. It has good connections which help the student to take up job in their top dream firms. Internships too are provided so as to probide the students with a good experience

I like the college atmosphere but i want to improve college uniforms
Social interaction was nice and My engagement with campus was okok
Faculty was quite nice and understanding

Dislikes

Out Timming of college we can’t go out without gate pass
College uniform I don’t like the quality of t shirt very uncomfortable
They don’t allow short clothes or any different colour jeans , only blue amd black is allowed

From 4 year we are ready for placement but some people choose to do thesis and some choose internship . Many companies came to out college like live space n more. I guess the average will be 6-7lakh in starting . And 40% got placement from this college . If their is no campus placement we can go through linkedin and many more.

Likes

Environment of college is very good for students.
In campus GYM available and other sports activities also
Seniors are very good for interaction and friends also

Dislikes

Food quality is very bad. We are adjusting for food
Teachers are average they don’t do interaction with students.
In cafeteria area food are expensive too much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

User experience course is very good. This course have high scope in abroad. You can start freelancing with this course.course is difficult but if you do with full mindset you can do anything. But others collages are good for this course

The college lens

Likes

One visiting faculty that taught us basic pattern drafting this was the only visiting faculty I liked
Working in library was good.but if there could be more books on fashion in library it would have been better
The infrastructure was cool and and it was working in the studios

Dislikes

The visiting faculty was most of the time not up to the mark as they only read from the presentation they made and the class was never interactive
The new Dean she is a huge show off. She was never helpful
Course was really basic the level could be increased a bit

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my personal experience I believe the course was really basic like not even the first step More complex apparel could have been taught How to identify the fabric should be taught one on one not via zoom meeting Professors prepareed ppts and in class only read that it was monotonous not even a word extra from pptthen they expect great results in are assignments

Likes

I liked infrastructure. As the campus is huge and is very well maintained
I like cleanliness there. It is maintained properly and has dustbins all around the campus and is not untidy. Always remains clean

Dislikes

I dont like the location of the campus as it is located on highway and not in the centre of the city
I do not like their rule that students who are day scholars can not go out of the college before 3:30 pm
I do not like the fabric of summer tshirts as uniform

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester students are eligible for internships there is high scope of internships as many companies do visit our campus on daily basis and employ students on the basis of their portfolio and their performance in interviews

Chitkara design school rajpura

Likes

The faculty of chitkara design school is really supportive and for every module we get different experienced designers
There are various clubs in chitkara for dance music art sports
We have 3 cafeterias square 1 square 2 and circle 1 to hangout and eat

Dislikes

Even the dayscholars need gatepass stamped by Dean to get out of the college for some time
Dayscholars don't get to attend dj nights and events at all
There are strict uniform rules. We can only wear black or blue basic jeans

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our design school offers an excellent curriculum which covers all the modules even if they are slightly less important , they cover it all in our semester. The open jury system also helps us interact with jury members in our batchmates jury time .

Reviewing my college campus things

Placement Experience:

The recruiting companies come to our college at the end of the 3rd year and it gives great packages to the students and the placement area or city is also good according to the job. The highest package here is 10 to 15 LPA for the user experience designer job role. Placement criteria are the student must be good in the academic projects and doesn't fail in any subject.

Placement Experience:

So we have six semesters in three years and the last semester, the placement drives are started. Companies that are known for shoots and graphical designing come and take students. 95% of the students are placed and highest salary goes to 4 lakh and average 2 lakhs. I plan to get a job after this course in graphical design.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
