The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

My sixth semester is going on and many companies have come for the interview but I have not been placed in the 7th semester many good companies will come to the highest package for 15lac and minimum is 5lac till now almost 60% of students have been placed

Placement Experience:

Chitkara is best known for its campus placements. The companies start recruiting from the 6th semester until you are graduate and almost 98% of students are placed. The company with the highest package was 15LPA and the average package is about 4LPA.

I have no internship experience till now as I am a 1st year student.

Placement Experience:

Our university is famous for its placements. No. of companies visiting the campus for recruitment is more than 1000. The most known companies which recruit from our university are Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, and many more. A CSE student can get an on-campus internship in the third year and an on-campus placement in the fourth year. Other than on-campus, we can find intership ourselves on apps like Internshala, freelancer, etc.

Chitkara University - Good Placements

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year internship starts, the company offers a good package, one of the senior got in MakeMyTrip for an 8 LPA internship. Just practice hard and you can crack good packages, that is the main thing here. Placements are average as it's a private university.

Direction to make future bright

Placement Experience:

From the third year onwards campus placements get started students starts getting learning after the 4th sem about placements may companies about 200 companies comes in the campus and highest pkg is of 35 lakhs and lowest up to 10 lakhs we need to get 8 cgpa for placements my plans is to get a job in amazon company for that we have to learn data structure more.

There are many types of companies that visit the college with several offers and some of the popular company names are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Infosys, Virtusa, and many more. The highest package is around Rs. 32 Lakhs and the average package is around Rs. 3 to 4 Lakhs as per company and profile offered. There is a 100% placement system for the students in the college. Campus placement is very good. This University provides 100% placement. The average package per year is approximately 5- 6 lakhs. The package depends on student's skills and knowledge. There are huge placements in our college. The average placement is about 5-6 lakh and the highest placement in 2020 is 27 lakh. In the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. 100% of students got placed every year. Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
