The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Campus Life of chitkara University is so so good
In this university management is so good
Teaching experience by this university faculty is fine

Dislikes

This university has a lot of students crowd
Sports sector here not too much fine according to me
Student not have free time for doing extra curricular

Placement Experience:

In this university students applicable from 6 or 7 semester. There are some big and small company visit every year like Capgemini,infosys,tcs and some other companies. The highest offer like 45 lakhs and average 5lakhs I want to be a good developer

Likes

Mentors foe a group of students to guide them well
A lot of clubs and sport facilities to engage into.
All the professors who teach are either phd holders or are doing one.Placement rate is good .Curriculum is quite impressive and according to industry needs

Dislikes

Campus is very small. Not encouraged to participate in co-curricular by professors.
Fees is way too much high for the facilities with a 5% increase every tear
No senior - junior interactions.Not a very good infrastructure.Since they have so many cse students and not sufficient space for them so they ask hostellers to take evening classes which is not pleasing.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package was 30 lpa and average package is 4 lpa almost 95% students gets placed every year as the university provides mass recruitements with average package of 3pa or 4lpa .I am thinking of either pursuing career in government sector or doing a normal it job

The best thing about the university is it's beautiful campus, filled with greenery and great architecture. It provides all the necessary things inside of the university itself. The university also has a wide range of sports facilities including a gym
Another thing that is appreciable is the faculty that is really supportive and majorly all the faculty members are PHD holders, masters in their respective field.
The average placement is also exceptionally well and many big enterprises visit on regular basis of events and placements.

Dislikes

In comparison of the strength, the campus might feel smaller as the population to land ratio is a little less.
The girls to boys ratio isn't that impressive as it has more boys in comparison of girls.
The mess food is just okay and it isn't as nutritious as it must be and the taste also feels repetitive.

The placament record of my university is excellent as even after having a vast population, it still provides a decent average placement of eight lakhs.YES, campus placement is provided in our university. Many big companies pay visit like that of microsoft, amazon and capgemini. The highest package was offered by amazon that was of 1.12 cr, but it was an off campus placement. Placements starts from the 6th semester that is the last semester of third semester, and the percentage of students getting placed isn't fixed but majority in the year 2021 about 95 percent of students were placed.

Chitkara University at a Glimpse

Likes

I like the facilities offers by the college in the study halls . There are smart boards, neat and clean classrooms and fully wifi enabled campus.
The facilities are also very supportive and helpful .They are well qualified and almost all the facilities are having a degree of PhD.
I like the overall experience of the campus. It offers a lush and green campus on. very large area and very good sportorium, gyms and other places too.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about the college is the experience at nights in the campus. The campus gets fully filled with couples roaming together holding their hands and doing other stuffs.

Placement Experience:

The placement for the students are also very good and the students gets easily placed. The students just need to focus on their skills as well as aptitude in order to get a good placement in a good company.

students can apply for placement from 3rd year 5th semester and they can apply in all the companies but it is according to the marks the students get in exams and the average package is 12 lakhs and percentage of getting students placement is 96% and my plan after getting degree is to get placed in best company

Frequency of exams is average. The level of exams is quite good. Much improvement is needed in management and timetable as not much breaks after classes are given. Day is quite hectic. They keep the students engaged in random necessary stuff

The college has a enjoyable campus and nightlife. The quality of social interaction is decent. You will surely enjoy the campus life and the aesthetics of the college.
The quality of education is good and the faulty members are well educated and helpful. The mentorship quality is great, the mentors will always help you when you need help.
Infrastructure of the college is amazing and even the classrooms and buildings are clean and perfectly ventilated.

Dislikes

Mess food can be improved as the quality of mess food is decent. The variety of the food can also be increased.
The quality of education can also be improved. The teaching methods can be made more practical with a little less focus on theory.
More focus on making the students industry ready should be there.

Placement Experience:

From third year students become eligible for internships and in the final year they are eligible for campus placements. The top companies that visit the campus are Infosys, Amazon, HP, Infotech, Wipro etc. The highest package offered in my course was 32LPA with average being 8LPA. Percentage of the students getting placed is 80%. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placements and after that opt for higher studies.

First thing that I liked is that the university is fully neat and clean. There is no clutter anywhere. The washrooms, the campus everything is neat and clean.
Talking about the faculty, it is also okay as whereever we go there are good people and bad people. But the number of good people here are more as compared to the ones who do not corporate.
Then the classes they are properly scheduled. There is no confusion in the class timings.

Dislikes

The wifi quality is not good. It keeps on lagging which is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am pursuing Computer science with Artificial Intelligence. So the course also teaches us about how AI is evolving in the world and what it will be doing in the upcoming years. I don't feel right now that there is any area of improvement. I just want that faculty should give one on one attention. That's what I feel.

The things that i like most in this university is that its hostel. hostel facility is quite good and food is also good . The hostel staff is also good
management is also quite good . university is well maintained and playgrounds are also good and well maintained.
sports and clubs facilities are amazing and impressive.

Dislikes

teachers are are not good and study is also not good.
behaviour of security guards is also not good.
range of students is very high so placements is not easy.

Placement Experience:

from fourth semester students are ready to get placements and internships . companies like microsoft and google are come in this collage and average package offer by them is about 12 lacks per annum which is quite good

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
