The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

CHITKARA UNIVERSITY

Likes

Sports, ambience, security of students, allover good
Classes are really good with best furniture
Greenery hostel clean campus and good food outlets

Dislikes

Rules are really strict sometimes as compared to others
We need to wear chitkara uniform for classes

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 6 semester and top notch companies visit the canpus for hiring student like good cicso etc,package sometimes goes upto 50-60 lakh but the avg pack is around 3-4 lakhs ,in campus placement is good

A beautiful place

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose cse because I have deep intrest in computer here in each class 70 students are there and 2 teachers in each class maximum teachers are PhD and mtech and teach on white board exam are very much frequently and they are easy to pass

Lots of pros with a little cons

Likes

College green campus , lovely atmosphere, Explorerorium
Extra curricular activities like volleyball, cricket , tennis everything is available.
Hostel facility is in best clasand chirping birds and blooming flowers makes the hostel beautiful.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so Good, needs improvement.
Management and security guards behave very rudely at main gate.
Here the practice of traineeship is very prominent.

Internship starts from Third year . Campusing starts from the end of third year. On 2022 highest package was 1.11cr taken by a student through off campus, average 6-7 LPA placement is going on here.Gate will be best option after BE-cse

Infrastructure facility was good overall
It is very green and clean and space is well utilised
A good university for sports if you're a hostler

Dislikes

Attendance is something which is considered more
Your skills are not very much looked after, it's just the academic performance

Placement Experience:

Mostly placements are done after 3rd year, average is like 5 LPA, but you can definitely go for off campus placements, it totally depends upon your skills and in field like Civil, many students tend to go into business also.

Restrictions One is restricted to wear normal clothes like jeggings or cargos nd any trouser which is not blue or black in colour

Students are eligible for placement in the sixth semester. Deloitte.. Accenture... Google etc are companies who come to campus for job offers... Highest package 50 lakh .. Lowest package 8 lakh.... 100% placement

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
