Fees and Financial Aid:

I am pursuing B.Com (Hons.) under Sambalpur University. The total fees are quite affordable compared to private universities. My yearly fee is around ?7,500 – ?9,000 including tuition fees, college development fees, and examination fees. Apart from this, there is also a small amount charged for form fill-up, identity card and library. The fee structure is almost the same for every year and does not increase significantly. Hostel fees and transportation charges are optional and depend on the student’s requirement. Students belonging to SC/ST categories generally get concessions or government scholarships, whereas general category students can also apply for options like e-Medhabruti and merit-cum-means scholarships if they meet the required criteria. Overall the course is affordable for most students and does not create financial burden on families.

I had payed my admission fees in 1st year only 3200/- rupee. I dint give any other fees after my admission till internal exam on tuition fee, no development fees, no lab fees etc. All student are paying mem to sem. Govt scholarship aviloable like Post metric (+3) - 10,000/- Byasa kabi fakir mohan bhasabrutti(+3) - 20,000/- etc. They approve this scholarships and paying students.

I paid eight thousand five hundred and fifty two rupees while i joined the college. Tution fees was some around 2000 rupees, registration fees was 300 rupees may be, development fees was 4000 rupees and caution fees was may be 500.

The year wise fees I paid around 7000 and other fees like tuition, caution, registration, development, lab etc. are not compulsory charges. Admition fees was collected cottagory wise like highest fees collect general cottagory and then SC then ST then OBC then SCBC . Scholarship also provide cottagory wise like st/sc and OBC category provided state scholarship and general provided UG merit scholarships
