Kanika library was the best thing i like about this institution. it is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
They are very helpful and student friendly with very good experiences and their mentorship is outstanding.
Maximum of th3 best ranking students get the placements at renowned companies like godrej bosch, hotachi, wipro, infosys, tcs, tata, mahindra etc.

Dislikes

Bad environment in night time and bad student in our side
The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
The hostel food is not so great, many changes needs to be done.

Yes Our University Offers Campus Selection And If I Couldn't get Campur Placement Then I Will Try For Banking exam that is SBI PO and All..... so Moreover i want job here students should be knowledge oriented.

Likes

The central library of the college was really good along with the infrastructure but the environment was not so good.
The garden of the university is worth watching along with the iconic seven pillars of wisdom.
Faculty members in my department were really good and supportive in every possible way

Dislikes

I disliked the students were very liberal and used to bunk classes alot
Political involvement of the students because of elections.
Some facilities were still missing for betterment of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for medical exams but I couldnt get through so I joined in zoology but I dont regret it now. The course curriculum was really good and helpful as it taught alot which I have applied in my PhD career as I have learned alot of techniques from the University. Some subjects need more focus as the ones which are in need right now. Those subjects should be taught appropriately and more focus should be put on student career development.

I really like about the teachers and their teaching methods
And I also like about the hostel facility
And for good placement for students for their job settlement

Dislikes

I really don't like about the college location
And I don't like the distance from hostel to college
And I don't like the normal dresses for college classes it should be changed to uniform

Placement Experience:

Ravenshaw University gives placement system for self financing students only. Self financing has 3 year course.And at the end of 2nd year and beginning of 3rd year, they provide placements to the students.

Infrastructure and clean environment with ample amount of space
Everything it is green and clean with most hygienic campus
Wifi connection is too good to complete online classes

Education department doens't have AC in its classroom
2 of the ladies hostels need a big of renovation
Some departments need a bit of repair work

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of integrated BSc BEd or BA BEd has demerits and I suggest you not to take admission in it as it's not accepted in central government curriculum due to some curricular glitches..Apart from that for general UG CBCS syllabus is the best

The faculties are quite helpful and classes are taken on a regular basis and coals is completed thoroughly. Both the permanent and guest faculties provide amazing guidance.
Classrooms are really nice according to the strength of the student and time table is quite flexible since student get interval between every class. This staffs are also quite helpful.
Infrastructure is really good and labs are provided to individual department students. Hi-technology PCs are there in the labs. Every student is assigned to their respective labs for avoiding the Chaos during the lab classes.

Dislikes

The campus is quite crowded because of lot of students so after the classes the street near the campus has a huge rush. So, there is lot of noise pollution.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course consists of 6 semester examination and 6 mid semester examination of the respective semester. Curriculum is quite flexible and if individual studies properly then it will be quite helpful for the studies or job perspective. Assignments and lab works are frequent.

I chose Bachelor of Statistics because it is one of the finest course among all subjects. Studying statistics can also be helpful for a better future you can become a data Scientist and ISI which is equivalent to UPSC. Exam timing is 3hrs.

A small tour to RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY

Its one of oldest government university in India and the way it is still maintained is just commendable.
The faculties are very supportive and helpful. If you have any queries you can directly go to the faculties to resolve it.
You can also get a well air conditioned library named Kanika library in the campus which is one of the biggest library in the state.

Dislikes

The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
Level of politics is quiet more related to cultural activities and management.

Placement Experience:

From 4th-5th sem you are eleigibke to sit in the placement cell and the placement ratio is very good. Companies visited like Delloite, accenture, microsoft, tech mahindra, TCS etc Almost 80-90% of the students get placed here.

The College campus is big enough with different departmental buildings for different Honours. Kanika Library, Indoor/outdoor gym, cafeteria, tennis club, everything is available for college students.
In most of the dept. Like ours in CS dept rooms are fully air conditioned with smart board for practical and comfort learning zone.
Teachers are well versed about current market technology needs and taught us the same and also invite us to clear our doubts

Dislikes

This year means in 2024, placement scene was not good because very companies came like Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Verizon, TCS, Genpact
There is no pre-placement training, whatever we have achieved in any company through placements by only sake of own readiness
Food availability is hardly can be said to yes within college because in cafeteria the food available are not fresh which can lead to health issue

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester for BSc level courses, students can seat for placements for various companies like Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Capgemini, Vois, Verizon, Cocentrix, PWC, Piramal finance, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc. In 2024, more than 100 students grabbed the placement opportunity including me ( I got placed at Deloitte as an Associate Analyst ). The average package is Rs. 3.5 Lakhs/annum and Highest is 5 lakhs/annum.
