Kanika library was the best thing i like about this institution. it is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
They are very helpful and student friendly with very good experiences and their mentorship is outstanding.
Maximum of th3 best ranking students get the placements at renowned companies like godrej bosch, hotachi, wipro, infosys, tcs, tata, mahindra etc.

Dislikes

Bad environment in night time and bad student in our side
The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
The hostel food is not so great, many changes needs to be done.

Ravenshaw university

I love the infrastructure of ravenshaw University. It is a very vast property with every necessity needed.
Teachers are very friendly and provides you with almost opportunities. The university has a lot of opportunities to provide to a student where he/she can built a strong CV.
Curricular engagement is top-notch. No ravenshawvian can sit idle. The university keeps students engaged in too many aspects may it be sports, dance, music or studies.

Dislikes

Teaching technique of some teachers needs to e approved.
Regulations of the classes needs to be checked.
Individual departments need to interact more often with each other.

Placement Experience:

Placement differs again for different courses. In bachelor's of arts subjects there are less possibilities of Placements. But in other science and commerce faculties, they provide fine number of placements. The university should look up to the placements for the arts departments as well. It is so much needed as students always has an eye on the university to provide them the way of upliftment and on being independent.

Likes

the campus feels like home specially if you are a hostel student, strolls at night are the best.
Good sports exposer, if you are an athlete, you surely are going to get better here
A lot of functions and fest everytime everywhere, you get to participate and socialise a lot if interested

Dislikes

there are no internships or placement opportunity provided in our course
there are not many clubs in here, there should be more clubs which coordinate and work properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only specific aspect that influenced me to choose this course is PASSION. Well history teaches us a lot, we can dive into it and grow intellectually. there can be more practicality involved in the course curriculam. we have 2 semesters and 2 internals each year, and the difficulty level is moderate to hard.

The campus is so good and have Wi-Fi facility.
Regular Classes are going on and the academic facility are good.
The campus environment is so good and better.

Dislikes

The campus don't have much larger area for better campus.
The hostel facility are good but the hoste warden is not good.
The hostel warden is not working like what the boards are saying.

Ravenshaw University is the oldest education institution in Odisha so that I can choose better improvement for degree All the facilities are given here. No all the teaching methods are helpful for students

Things you should know !

Likes

The aura of the place. You could just sit in the lawn with your friends and see the sun go down .
Everytime theres a function people will be fully involved and live the moment
The strikes that were supposed to be serious but i saw it as fun

Dislikes

Lovers making some places their personal territory
The gate system. It took so much of our time when we had to go outside circling half the university which could have saved us some time if the kept opened the front gate
The central garden of the university is one of the peaceful place to chill and sit. But they wont allow you to do that after 5:30 ...that annoyed me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I was interested in it and the history of the university is connected to the British colonial rule that helped establish the language ,so it was an easy choice to take the course in my state. Everything has its own benefits...depends how well the lectures carry the academic pursuits. In our time it was 50-50. Need better classes and benches. They are very old. A better scheduled time table.

Class rooms are always clean. All teachers are friendly .
Awesome infrastructure of in this University
Library facility also provide here which is the favourite one .

Dislikes

There are many dogs here that interrupt the reading
Here the class is held till 5 pm which I don't like
Not all students can get hostel facility here

The curriculum of this university is easy Library facilities are also provided here All students are happy with this course The teaching methods are unique and the course is easy to learn The teacher comes on time and delivers his lessons.

Not having campus selection and favouritism is everywhere

Course Curriculum Overview:

My high school teacher influenced me to choose Hindi as subject and it may help me to find abroad opportunities in translation line. I think the course may be completed within 6 month duration and campus selection must be provided and teaching method is okay. Exams are happening in every 6 month and level of difficulty is middle

The Big Campus of Ravenshaw University. Cuttack

Dislikes

Its drainage system is not working and having work in it.
Lift system is not available in every building.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Hindi is a literature subject. And literature is a subject, which makes us cry. Because it contains the facts and the reality of the country or the person. And I aim to be a Lecturer so that's why I choose this course.

Teaching process are the most attractive thing here
And Library where we get every kind of book
The most attractive thing is cleanliness and gardening

Lack of faculties in some department is most heartbreaking thing
In some departments students face irregular classes problems
Many students don't get hostel facilities

This course is actually very entertaining and very helpful towards our literature society. By persuing this course I can help Hindi language to be the Rastrabhasa of our country...which will help people to know Hindi more and to connect with eachother in our country

Fees structure , courses, opportunities.....
Hostel facility , outdoor gym, playground

Not have 100% placement option and children have to suffer alot
Not getting information about the program conducted within the boundaries of college

Likes

Infrastructure of our university is better.
A large beautiful ground and gym for students.
Free wifi and a large conventional centre for a programme.

Dislikes

Reinovation of inftractures and designs of buildings.
Plantation is more for more beautiful academics.
Improve drainage systems and make clean and green area.

I choose geography as a honours because I am much interested in studies the nature, environment, rocks and geographical condition of our country and all over the world. In our honours total 11 faculity are their ,among them male facility is 6 and female facilities is 5 and total strength of our honours class is 45.
