Kanika library was the best thing i like about this institution. it is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
They are very helpful and student friendly with very good experiences and their mentorship is outstanding.
Maximum of th3 best ranking students get the placements at renowned companies like godrej bosch, hotachi, wipro, infosys, tcs, tata, mahindra etc.

Dislikes

Bad environment in night time and bad student in our side
The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
The hostel food is not so great, many changes needs to be done.

The college is located at a good location
The transportation facility to the college is also good

I chose this course. I had a keen interest in a Bachelor of Arts because I always wanted to pursue arts. The faculty-to-student ratio in the college is 1:50 and the faculties have good knowledge about the core of the subject.

The college is very close to my house and travelling is easy
The college is having mostly local crowd

Dislikes

There is no annual fest or extra events that takes place in the campus
There is no playground in the campus for us to play

The course curriculum is kind of hectic as we have classes going on the whole day. The faculty-to-student ratio in our college is 1:60. The faculties have good industry exposure and our from good colleges.

Ravenshaw's Interospection

Likes

The building beauty and the glory. The environment and the fests provided by the University.
The society and various groups of the University for the support of needy people and for the respect of deprived class and excluded society.
The Faculties and students relations. Students can able to share their grievance freely to the teachers for their solutions.

Dislikes

The administrative process due to their negligence and slow process of work.
The class timings and the prescribed class teachers schedule with other works of the university.
Very free and flexible environment that allows students to do whatever they wish.

Sweet and sour life- adulthood

Has a very good campus environment, regular blood donation camps
A lot happen in extra curricular that you can participate and win prizes in all fields like dance,song, sports physical health, and many more

Dislikes

Administrative process sometimes it just so hectic for a simple work to complete
Course completion is tough task for faculty and students are expected to exam without the completion of course

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we can complete our graduation and bed course simultaneously with the minimum time period of 4 years. The ratio of students and faculty is good. They have cleared net jrf, assistant professor, Ph.D. holders, etc. Teaching methods are good but there is always room for improvement in university it is more of a lecture method which we can change. There is a total 8th semester and each occurs at the time period of 6 months. It is not so difficult to pass just needs to have conceptual knowledge.

College life in Ravenshaw

Likes

Mostly Ravenshaw University is known for its education and the teachers I got here are the ones I liked most.
Other than the education fests and other kinda celebrations are the excited and happy things which happened with me here
Facilities which are provided here are very nice which includes library,indoor and outdoor gyms and many others.

Dislikes

Thing I disliked are that sometimes students which are not from this college use to roam here and there with their vehicles.
Sometimes boys face major issues regarding their meals
As this college is in Cuttack, mostly after rain the roads in the campus are seen to be full of water and we are unable to walk.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for zoology honors cause I wanted to study more about biology in animals. Faculty members are listed. Teachers take classes regularly and try to finish the course within time and mostly the languages they use to make us understand the topic are quite nice. Exams are taken yearly and before each semester each terminal exam is taken.

Ravenshaw and its culture

Likes

Ravenshaw campus is very good ,quality of education
Infrastructure is very good,hightech class room modern library
Faculty are highly qualified and process of examination is very good

Dislikes

During rainy season drainage system doesn't work properly
Campus security staff are very annoying they always blow whistle when some one is walking through lawn

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students are eligible for placement drive. There are various companies like TCS Deloitte etc. company provide campus offers. The average pack of our college is around 4 lakhs. 30-40 % of students get placement every year. My plan after getting my degree is to do a government job.

College conducts fest in very grant way. Many celebrities are invited as guest on the occassion.students enjoy it very much.
The library facilities provided is very good and so easily accessible.
Teachers are very friendly. They help the students in any purpose.

Dislikes

There is a sanitation problem in the Ravenshaw campus.
Sometimes there is fight between the seniors of college but later on it is sorted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think I can do better by pursuing this course in the future. Qualification of faculty is at least having done MSC on that specific subject. There is an interview round conducted on the selection of faculty members. The University conducts semester exams within 3-4 months of the time period. It completely depends upon the student and the way he/ she prepared for the exam. Otherwise, the level of questions is moderate. Students can clear the semester exams.

Lovely Ravenshaw

Likes

The studing environment is most appropriable.
Campus is well maintained and soothing to eyes and heart.
Supportive friends I got here in revenshaw will always be remembered.

Dislikes

The blockages of roads in rainy season is somehow disliked.
Waste management during the seasonal changes are disliked.
Due to our campus is besides the road the noise issue pokes a bit.

The course curriculum is well provided. I'm in an integrated b.ed course and I'm happy with the course as well as the faculty members. Everyone is much supportive and provides nice guidance to improve in respective fields.

I have joined this course to do further research in higher institutes. Student to faculty ratio is quite good .its about 30:1. Qualification of the faculty is Ph.D. mphil and msc degree. Termly exams are semester exams. Held twice a year.

I choose this college because it is a very good environment for study and it is very high demand and very scope for the future. The ratio of the faculty is 30:1. Qualification of the faculty from a reputed institute like IIT Bangalore and there they completed PhD.
