From the 6th semester students are eligible for the campus recruitment and can apply for the companies Many and different companies have visited for the campus round and above 60% students has veen placed in company like Capgemini cognizant TCS etc. And the average package was 3.6 lakhs and as per the my information highest recent package was about 12 lakhs

Likes

College faculty members are very friendly and helpful. Thy always see towards up whenever we need any help and guide at every step. They always treat us like their child . Our college campus also very well developed and the infrastructure also good .
Our college also organised many events and programs. Every student can participate in any event ... They get their certificate of participation and many rewards for the winner. They also organised festival wise events and programs and celebrate it ..

Dislikes

Some times the college canteen is not giving the good food . There is no taste at all . College canteen facilities are good though not that much of poor . But the food is not very good
Internet facility are not available in college campus .

Placement Experience:

Student are given the CRT, campus recruitment training from second year . And level increase according to the class . Approximately 80% students are getting jobs in company like Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini etc

Being one of the top government college, the institute is spread in wide area with green environment
Great minds that becomes a part of family with whom we spend 4 yrs

Dislikes

In some area of college some of the building are still old and are not renew

Placement Experience:

Training and placement section of government college of engineering Amravati is quite good. Students are motivated to crack high paying jobs through campus. T&P brings some of the famous MNC companies like Nivida, Samsung, Synopsis etc. With highest package of batch 2020 in Synopsis was of 18.5 LPA

Focus on competitive exams like GATE. I was preparing for GATE and the facilities guided me very well through the preparation and also supported during exam phase. The college exam timetables never overlapped with GATE exam dates
Student Association activities. The Electronics and telecommunications association of students conducted many events and activities throughout the 4 years of my stay. These activities were very amusing. The department felt like a family.

Dislikes

Bad infrastructure of washrooms. The washrooms were very badly built though the cleanliness was okayish, it needs furnishing.
The wifi sucks. The internet barely works in any area in the college. The college wifi also provides bad connectivity.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for placements. Zoho, Siemens, Ribbon Communications, TCS visited the campus. Total 8 offers are made so far and the placements are still ongoing. Highest package offered is 8.5LPA.

Very helpful teaching staff, separate students association where they can arrange different activities, helping overall development.
Many workshops are taken which help students gain more practical knowledge which they can implement in projects and in future.

Dislikes

You will not have regular classes of every subject, some faculties take the classes whereas others don't.
The only branch which is very strict and with lot of struggle but in return it makes you stronger

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies who visited for placements and one benefit is that electronics students can apply for both core and it companies. Maximum students are placed with minimum package of 5 lakhs and maximum package can be 20 30 depending upon company.

I like the campus of this College most college also have one open theatre for any cultural
Infrastructure is good according to their built every department have their seperate laboratories according to their subjects and specialization

Dislikes

College have both old aged and young staff young staff is very good and friendly but this oldies
College infrastructure are quite old because of their foundation college was found

This college have best placement in Amravati you are eligible for placement from the 5th semester of your course there is 5 lakhs rupees average and 40 lakhs rupees is maximum package provided by college upto 60% students get placed every year

College provide various aptitude courses which are helpful to the students for placement
Various Workshops, Seminars related to AI, DS, and other stream related so that student get much know about futuristic things.

Dislikes

There is any proper grounds for sports, and other outdoor activities.

Placement Experience:

From 7semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are numbers of companies like TCS Ninga, TCS digital, TCS prime, Nvidia, Flipkart, Cognizant, etc. Highest package is about 15-16 LPA and Average Package is near about 6-7 LPA.

The environment of college is very good and the buildings are well structured.
The college provides a good library with computers and internet activity supported.

Dislikes

There are no such social activities in college, only a few programs.
I would say that the syllabus of all subjects are so old.

Placement Experience:

The college provides the placement opportunities to the students and big companies like TCS, Wipro visit the college to take students. Every year 25% of the students get placed in the campus. And those who doesn't get placed most of them persue higher level of education and to others the course provide alot help to get a job.

They have to remember that not each and every student is capable of writing paper like these

There are company comes like TCS and etc but the fact is student are not much developed by teacher to get 100 percent placement because of that some topper students can crack the interview.for placement you have to maintain 7.5-8 and above cgpa

I have done BE (Computer) and now pursuing ME from SGBAU Amravati, Maharashtra, India. I want to go to a corporate job. Will my ME make any benefit for me?

Probably not but it may be useful if you want to be a professor, and should prepare yourself to do a Ph.D. from a more reputed university.

BE will help you understand the theory which you can ten implement practically. ME or M.Tech is basically for shifting to the teaching line. Though there are some specializations that will equip you with deeper technical knowledge.

During placements, you will have an edge over BE candidates. Students graduating with ME or M.Tech generally go for Research and Development.

Post Graduation has an advantage but for a corporate job, being a BE or B.Tech graduate, you can also apply. Studying 2 more years is a choice that varies from student to student. There is no right answer so, choose to do whatever you feel will be suitable for you.
