SGBAU Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

SGBAU offers B.Tech with few specializations at undergraduate level with a duration of 4 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into B.Tech is 10+2 and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. The university offers B.Tech courses with specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board for getting admission into the B.Tech program.

SGBAU B.Tech Selection Criteria:

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of merit in MHT-CET followed by counselling.

SGBAU offers BLISc with few specializations at undergraduate level with a duration of 1 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into BLISc is Graduation and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. The total annual intake is around 30 for this course.

SGBAU BLISc Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 55% in any discipline from a recognized university for getting admission into the BLISc program.

SGBAU BLISc Selection Criteria

Admission to BLISc is done on the basis of merit obtained in Graduation. 

SGBAU offers various postgraduate courses like MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, LLM, M.Ed., M.P.Ed, MLISc, etc in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education & so on. Admission to such courses, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and selection to these courses is merit or entrance based. SGBAU offers PG courses with specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU PG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed Graduation from a recognized university for getting admission into MA.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with B.Com from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Com.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation in relevant subjects from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Sc.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% (45% for OBC candidates) from a recognized university and having Mathematics and Statistics at 10+2 level for getting admission into MCA.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with LLB/ BA.LLB from a recognized university for getting admission into LLM.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with B.Ed from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Ed.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with B.P.Ed from a recognized university for getting admission into M.P.Ed.
• Candidates must have passed Graduation with BLISc from a recognized university for getting admission into MLISc.

SGBAU PG Selection Criteria:

• Admission to MA/ M.Com/ LLM/ MLISc is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination
• Admission to M.Sc is done on the basis of merit in an entrance examination or last qualifying examination
• Admission to MCA is done on the basis of merit in MAH CET
• Admission to M.Ed is done on the basis of merit in CET conducted by Directorate Higher Education, Pune
• Admission to M.P.Ed is done on the basis of merit in CET conducted by govt. of MS

SGBAU offers ME/ M.Tech with few specializations at undergraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into ME/ M.Tech is 10+2 and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. SGBAU offers ME/ M.Tech courses with specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU ME/ M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Graduation in BE/ B.Tech with 50% from a recognized university for getting admission into the ME/ M.Tech program.

SGBAU ME/ M.Tech Selection Criteria:

Admission to ME/ M.Tech is done on the basis of merit in GATE followed by CAP counselling.

SGBAU offers MBA at postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into MBA is Graduation and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. SGBAU offers MBA with specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU MBA Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% in any discipline from a recognized university for getting admission into the MBA program.

SGBAU MBA Selection Criteria:

Admission to MBA is done on the basis of merit in MAH CET followed by CAP counselling.

SGBAU offers PG Diploma with few specializations with a duration of 1 year. The basic eligibility for getting admission into such courses is Graduation & selection to these courses is based on merit. SGBAU offers PG Diploma courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a Graduate degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% (45% for OBC candidates) for getting admission into PG Diploma. 

SGBAU PG Diploma Selection Criteria:

Admission to PG Diploma is done on the basis of score in the qualifying examination.

SGBAU offers Ph.D. at research level in the fields of Arts, Science, Education & Law with a duration of 3-5 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into Ph.D. program is Post Graduation. Selection to Ph.D. program is based on merit in an entrance examination followed by an interview. SGBAU offers Ph.D. program in various specializations are tabulated below:

SGBAU Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in relevant subject with at least 55% for getting admission into Ph.D program.

SGBAU Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

• Admission to Ph.D. program is based on merit secured in MPET/ PAT/ PET followed by an interview conducted by the university
• Candidates who have qualified UGC / CSIR-JRF / NET/ SET or have a valid GATE score / M.Phil in concerned subjects are exempted from the Written Test
