The college is recognized for its highly qualified faculty, all holding either a doctorate or an M.Tech degree, and provides specialized instructors in technologies like C++, Java, and VB. During 2001-2004, the college offered an affordable fee structure, with an annual tuition fee of 9,000 INR or 4,500 INR per semester, and affordable hostel and mess charges of 300 INR and 700 INR per month, respectively. Students also received a rail fare discount twice a year, and the low cost of living in Jalgaon made it financially accessible for students from less affluent backgrounds.
However, the placement scenario during this period was challenging due to an unfavorable job market, resulting in limited direct recruitment opportunities from the college. Internships were available in the last semester, providing some practical experience, with a notable starting salary offer of INR 4,000 per month in July 2004. Despite the challenges, the college was ranked No. 9 in India and was NAAC certified. It did not offer internal scholarships or loans, but its strong reputation made it easier for students to secure loans from external sources.
While the college’s fee structure remains low, scholarships are offered based on academic performance. Students who meet employer satisfaction criteria during campus placements can secure job offers starting at 5 lakh per annum.
