Likes

The faculty is good teacher scholars and the best thing class size.
There are several scholorships and financial assistance are available throughout the course completion and it really helps the students for a better performance.
Overall experience in this college is very good the facilities are very good and the best part of this college is library , sports events organised every year and the overall facilities are very good.

Dislikes

Hostel are decent room are provided with materials but rooms are bit small meals are pathetic registration process is bit complicated hostel is bit isolated as it it on the top of the hills ....n coverd with forest area
The syllabus is not completed and only some classes were suspended
I don't have so much information about internship but as much a i have knowledge about internship from my friends and senior,internship here are not so well and stipend too both have to be performed more well.

Likes

The greenery and are campus area is good, its situated in a hilly area which is also called as switzerland of India.
The departments and infrastructure is good, and we also have placement cell which also provides many placement drives for students.
The teaching and the faculties are also very good and supportive , modern ICT technology is also used to make understand the concept.

Dislikes

The is no bus or other vehicle service inside the campus and the students have to walk kilometers to change the department.
Its an open campus and the security for the students is negligible and anyone can get into campus area
Labs should have more instruments , if one instrument gets damaged it takes years to get repaired. The sophisticated instruments are also charged for students fir its use.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd sem onwards the students are eligible for placements , the placement cell is still growing in this university . I guess very less students are placed in this university. My plans after completing msc is doing phd after clearing ugc net exam, or teach in any university reagarding my content.

I liked the environment and the atmosphere of this university
This university shows very nice support towards every student
There is a dedicated student grievance cell

Dislikes

The most disliked thing here is the lack of availability of things inside the campus
secondly the management here does not support on many grounds
very less or minimal co-curricular or extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 3rd Semester Masters students are eligible for placements. On an average 4-5 companies visit and approximately 20-30 Offers are made. The highest package is 6 LPA and average package is 4 LPA. 20 % students get placed. I am about to pursue P.hD

My experience of MSc Forensic Science in Dr. Hari Singh Gour University

Department of Criminology and Forensic Science is the first department of Asia to begin with the teaching of Forensic Science
The college is quite good with satisfactory facilities. The lab was needed to be improved so new building has been prepared.
The campus is fully equipped with free Wi-Fi facilities. For the amenities Library., Hospital, Bank all are there.

Dislikes

The campus is open campus so others civilians also come here.
The faculty is less, department is having vacancies which needs to be fulfilled.
Campus is large so there's a need of inuniversity transportation facility.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Forensic Science is an emerging field in India so I find it interesting in career aspects. The curriculum prepares us to use our theoretical knowledge to use it in practical world. The frequency of examinations are on time which are moderate level.

Likes

Infrastructure is developing every year competing some top quality institutions.
The university's locale lies in a very good natural environment with healthy AQI and cleanliness.
The free wifi is a go to things which you can avail at all places in the university

Dislikes

The department 's minimum faculty limit is not fulfilled which leads to mismanagement and a lack of work ethics can be seen in professors
The students are suppressed for demanding basic life needs like mess, water facilities and more healthy study environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is based on the criminal investigations which I find fascinating so it made me to choose this course, the curriculum is quite good and practical based which really makes us to happen the theoretical knowledge in the practical world. I'd like more improvement in the areas of practical knowledge and field visits. The exams happen time to time.

The administration of the university is very environment protective as they never harmed the forest area for construction.
The university is good in terms of affordability and for good education. It's a central university and follows the curriculum accordingly.

Dislikes

The hostel of the university is not having the mess facility.
Class sizes are small and seat intakes are less in few courses.
Open campus, I like a closed campus which are isolated the other body.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been fascinated with the Word Forensic when I came to know that this course is much more than a criminal investigations then I chose this interesting course and this course has good career opportunities. The course curriculum needs to be made more practical and field visits should be included. The exams are conducted thrice in a semester. You have to mid sem exams which are easy to moderate. And final semester exams are moderate to little bit difficult.

The heart of sagar

Likes

The main thing to appreciate was the academic excellence of the college
The faculties experience and their teaching style
The placement services of the campus and it's learning facilities

Dislikes

The college's location was a bit uncomfortable.
The climate and atmosphere may be not adjustable to all
The availability of social interactions are very little

This course is my dream course and I suggest people who want to pursue their career as a psychologist. There are so many opportunities and chances are available for the graduates in India and abroad. The curriculum is really good and it's getting better day by day. The frequency and timing of examinations will not difficult the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is my favorite subject, there are students from every corner of India, some are from North and some. south some. are from far east and some from the West. Student and teacher ratio is good at 45:1. Faculties are Qualified and some hold doctorate degree in their subject. This is a 2-year course of 4 semesters and the exam level is between medium to hard.

I like the campus very much as it was completly green also the faculty provide the best education one aims for.
I do also like the library as it was composed of many books also is very huge, we were provided with also newspaper there were also computers if needed along with wifi connection all over university.

Dislikes

I disliked the very long practical sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as well as this university because this university is composed of all professional Ph.D. scholars who provide the best guidance as well. The students were divided into several groups as the class was composed of only limited seats. The ratio of faculty to students was 1:40 . The university was also composed of several scholars who provide guidance as well also help in practical's. The faculty were all Ph.D. holders also the faculty is all NET qualified and also doing their well-known research.

Most affordable college for PG in forensics.

Likes

the budget of college was very affordable, it's easy to do your degree without much financial pressure
the university have the nice campus , with trees it gives freshness
I found the admission department very helpful, as my exam was during COVID and I had to get my centre changed, they made it possible for few students.

Dislikes

The time given by faculty is quite less and some faculties are not there to make u learn things, they can demotivate you sometimes.
The time of the students get wasted a lot in University, due to lot of exams we only can focus on the university exams, we cannot give time to ourselves or prepare for any other exams.

Placement Experience:

Every semester the placement is provided to students. Tata Aig offered placement to our batch. The highest package was of 4 to 5lac. 50% of the students in my batch are mostly working according to their preference. I will be giving the NET JRF exams. Students can go into the research field after PG, they can give exams like NET JRF and get a stipend for their research.

Hari singh gour university is central university and well disciplined college in compare to other university. Faculty of this college are excellent. This college is student friendly and near by my home town.
