The college features a faculty composed primarily of PhD-level educators with significant teaching experience. Even though there is a low student-to-faculty ratio due to a limited number of permanent staff, students benefit from ample interaction with their teachers. Modern technology and electronic resources are integrated into the teaching methods. In their final year, students receive a stipend for training at a partner institution and undertake paid project work with a mentor.

The program also includes a study tour to various institutions across India. The college provides several scholarships, such as e-grants, MOMA scholarships, and fisheries scholarships.
