Ques. What is the minimum qualification required for Ph.D. Instrumentation and Control Engineering admission at MAHE Manipal?
Ans. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 percent marks (or equivalent CGPA). Candidates with strong academic backgrounds and demonstrated interest in control systems research may also be considered.
Ques. Is the PhD Manipal Entrance Test (MET) mandatory for all candidates?
Ans. No, candidates with valid scores in UGC-NET, GATE, or other national qualifications are exempted from the PhD MET. However, all candidates must appear for the interview conducted by the department.
Ques. What research areas are available in Ph.D. Instrumentation and Control Engineering?
Ans. Research areas include process control, robotics, automation systems, embedded control systems, advanced control theory, and other instrumentation and control engineering disciplines. Ans. The minimum duration is 3.5 years from the date of registration. The maximum duration is 6 years. In case of extension beyond 3.5 years, an additional fee of Rs 7,500 per semester is applicable.
