Life at MIT Manipal

Fees and Financial Aid:

The Fees for this couse is 414000, where the caution deposit is 10k, after this there is no payment to be done for any facillities in the campus other than cafeteria and also the mess and hostel are charged together and separately. We first were supposed to pay 10k as caution deposit then after around 9 days paid 2.4lakh and after 10 days around 1.64 lakh.

The course btech mechatronics os avaliable at a grand total of 1700000 for 4 years that's approximately 425000 per year. The fees are increased periodically by the college basis of the inflation and the change in curriculum.

Yeah so apart from all this good stuff the college lacks in placement and is a little expensive in terms of tutition fees and stuff .But the course curriculum is strong enough to become job capable, student teams and clubs enhance interpersonal skill

1st Year = 325000 This is the tution fees Caution Deposit = 10000 This is paid to the college at the start when you select your branch in order to allot a seat 2nd Year = 431000 This is 2nd year fees which i paid 3rd year = 430000 this is the third year fees which i paid 4th year = 430000 (may vary a bit) This would be same or vary a bit this i will be paying next year

Manipal through the eyes of a curious student

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fees for all the 4 years are declared at the start and isn't increased during the duration of the course. The complete cost of the course without hostel is about 18 lakhs. The hostel rates can vary from 1-2 lakhs per annum. There are multiple scholarships provided based on your entrance exam ( Manipal Entrance Test) rank as well as government and AICTE scholarships. The college offers stipends if the student works on research projects and publishes any research papers

Fees is comparatively on a higher side when compared to other institutions. Total Cost of study for 4 years including hostel and mess will be around 1800000. Some financial assistance is given to students whose annual family income is less than 800000.

The fee structure is pretty good with 3.25 lakhs being paid for your course fees and 1.5 lakhs for your hostel and mess and there are a lot of scholarships available for students and there are various conditions which have to be met for them to be up eligible for it

The fee structure is pretty high but when you compare with what the college provides, it is good, only the opportunities and scholarships. If you like get 1000 below rank will be getting 25% of scholarship!! Placements are also good. We have an average package of like 8 to 9, lakhs per annum. When you compare with other private colleges it is pretty high
