Karnataka State Open University is one of the premier distance universities in the country established in the year 1996. KSOU MA, M.Sc., M.Com. and MBA Admission 2024
Karnataka State Open University offers postgraduate courses as approved by the university grant commission. The university offers postgraduate programs of M.Com, MA and M.Sc. in 11 specializations each. The college also offers MBA program at the master’s level. The eligibility criterion for admission to the PG programs is done on the basis of the scores obtained in the 3-year bachelor degree or equivalent examination of the relevant stream qualified from a recognized university or college.

No, entrance examination is not necessary for admission to all the courses in Karnataka State Open University. The admission to some courses is done on merit basis (marks secured in the previous qualifying examination).
Students seeking admission in the M.Sc Mathematics program of KSOU must have a B.Sc or B.Sc Honors in Mathematics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. But the university has closed the admission registration process for the 2022-23 academic session on November 15, 2022.
